  • Publication number: 20240131762
Abstract: Disclosed herein is an injection mold for production of marbled moldings, including at least one hot runner, a cavity, an entry opening into the injection mold and an inlet into the cavity, where the hot runner has at least two ducts that are connected at a first end of each duct to the inlet into the cavity and at a second end of each duct to the entry opening into the injection mold, where the at least two ducts each at least partly form a spiral, and the at least two ducts are bounded by a one-piece component. Further disclosed herein is a process for producing the injection mold and a process for producing marbled moldings.

  • Publication number: 20240092000
Abstract: Disclosed herein is a process for producing marbled moldings, where a first molding compound and at least one further molding compound are injected from an injection unit of a screw injection molding machine into an injection mold, where the injection unit includes a barrel, a screw having a screw tip and a nozzle where the screw is rotatable and is disposed in the barrel so as to be movable between a forward position and a backward position, with a smaller distance between the screw tip and the nozzle in the forward position than in the backward position, and where the first molding compound includes a first polymer compound and a first colorant, and the at least one further molding compound includes a further polymer compound and optionally at least one further colorant. Further disclosed herein is an apparatus for production of marbled moldings, and a process for producing the apparatus.

  • Publication number: 20200156283
Abstract: The invention relates to a process for producing a three-dimensional green body by a fused filament fabrication process employing at least one filament, which comprises a core material (CM) coated with a layer of a shell material (SM), and a three-dimensional extrusion printer (3D printer). The three-dimensional extrusion printer 0 contains at least one nozzle and at least one mixing element. The invention further relates to three-dimensional objects and an extruded strand obtained by the process.

  • Publication number: 20190201729
Abstract: A muscle trainer comprising curved, elongate spring elements is disclosed. The spring elements are arranged with facing concave sides and include end areas formed at each of the ends of the spring elements. The muscle trainer includes a first joint element being formed at a first end area of each spring element and a second joint element being formed at a second end area of each spring element. The spring elements are connected at their two end areas via joints formed from the joint elements. The first joint elements are designed as brackets having a bend in the direction of the concave side of the respective spring element and in each case at least partially enclosing the second joint element of the respective other spring element. A method for producing the muscle trainer and its use as a hand trainer are disclosed.
