  • Patent number: 5927517
Abstract: A merchandising display assembly for receiving display hooks for supporting and displaying articles of merchandise, comprising a planar mounting board having a flat front surface with a plurality of spaced apart bores extending therethrough in a predetermined pattern, and a rear surface. There is a collar surrounding each bore and extending back from the rear surface. The collar comprises a cylindrical side wall having a longitudinally extending slot along its uppermost point. The length of each collar is at least three times the diameter of each bore. Each bore and collar is adapted to selectively receive and frictionally retain a mounting hook. The merchandising display assembly further comprises several mounting hooks adapted for mounting on the board.

  • Patent number: 5785187
Abstract: A merchandising display assembly, including a substantially rigid, planar mounting board having a large number of spaced-apart bores formed therein in a predetermined pattern of parallel rows and columns. An axially-extending support rod is selectively received within a bore and frictionally retained by the bore sidewall. Display hooks extending outwardly from the support rods support and display merchandise adjacent the planar mounting board. A flexible display panel is mounted to the front surface of the mounting board. The display panel includes merchandise-identifying indicia defining a predetermined merchandise display configuration.

  • Patent number: 4342349
Abstract: Apparatus and method for forming V-shaped grooves in a board material including a grooving tool having a V-shaped leading cutting edge with a preselected included angle for cutting a V-shaped groove to a preselected depth in the board material, means for producing relative movement of said grooving tool and said board material to cut the V-shaped groove in said board material, guide means for inhibiting nonlinear relative movement of said grooving tool and said board material to cause a straight groove to be cut in said board. The board material thus grooved may be folded to form structures for use as boxes and in certain furniture applications.
