  • Publication number: 20240227972
Abstract: A bicycle frame is disclosed. The bicycle frame includes a plurality of tubular sections and a control unit arranged at least partly within one of the tubular sections. The control unit includes a housing that is rigidly attached to the tubular section. An accelerometer is arranged within the housing and arranged to sense an acceleration of the tubular section containing the control unit in an area of the control unit. The control unit includes a memory storing a tap recognition algorithm and a processor for analyzing an output signal of the accelerometer using the tap recognition algorithm to determine a tap action.

  • Patent number: 11093037
Abstract: A computer-implemented method for simulating the behavior of a hand interacting with objects in a virtual environment is provided, having acquiring a skeleton of a tracked hand using a hand-tracking device; computing a simulated hand interacting with objects in a virtual environment; establishing a coupling between the skeleton of a simulated hand and the tracked skeleton using coupling energies (Ucrb); establishing an internal energy of the simulated hand that accounts for joint constraints of the skeleton, skeleton-tissue coupling, and nonlinear soft-tissue deformation; establishing frictional contact between the simulated hand and virtual objects using a penalty energy considering relative interpenetration at contact points and a frictional energy considering the deviation between each contact point and its corresponding sliding anchor point; computing an updated skeleton and tissue of the simulated hand by minimizing the total energy involved.

  • Patent number: 10851452
Abstract: A method is disclosed, which can comprise via a transonic gas jet, depositing a thin film of LiPON on a substrate via a directed vapor deposition process. The transonic gas jet transports a thermally evaporated vapor cloud comprising the LiPON, wherein, the transonic gas jet comprises one of (a) substantially entirely nitrogen (N2) gas; or (b) nitrogen (N2) gas as a dopant in a concentration greater than 10% by volume in an inert carrier gas.

  • Publication number: 20170301901
Abstract: Certain exemplary embodiments can provide a system, which can comprise an ultra-thin polymer ceramic composite separator. The ultra-thin polymer ceramic composite separator can comprise Li-ion conducting ceramic material. The ceramic composite separator has a columnar grained microstructure. The ultra-thin polymer ceramic composite separator can comprise a single or bi-layer combination of LiPON, LATP, garnets, lithium sulfides, or Li1+2xZr2?zCa(PO4)3.
