  • Publication number: 20230404155
Abstract: An aerosol provision device heating system includes a heating region that can receive at least a portion of an article comprising aerosol generating material. The system also includes a first susceptor that extends within the heating region, and a second susceptor that at least partially surrounds at least a portion of the heating region. A first induction coil generates a first varying magnetic field that penetrates, and causes heating in, the first susceptor. A second induction coil generates a second varying magnetic field that penetrates, and causes heating in, the second susceptor. The first and second induction coils may be independently controllable.

  • Publication number: 20230380503
Abstract: An aerosol provision device and related methods of using the device where the device includes a device housing defining a chamber and a heater assembly. The assembly includes a receptacle defining a heating chamber arranged to removably receive at least a portion of an article having aerosol generating material, and a heating element for heating at least a portion of an article having aerosol generating material received in the heating chamber. The receptacle is removably disposed within the device housing chamber and is configured such that rotation of the receptacle relative to the device housing allows it to be engaged or disengaged with the device housing. A system and a kit of parts can include the device.

  • Publication number: 20230371603
Abstract: An aerosol provision device heating system is described. The system includes a heating region that can receive at least a portion of an article including aerosol generating material. The system also includes a first heating element that extends within a first portion of the heating region, and a second heating element that at least partially surrounds a second portion of the heating region. In some arrangements, at least part of the first heating element extending within the heating region is offset from the second heating element. In some arrangements, most of the second heating element is offset from the first heating element.

  • Publication number: 20220192261
Abstract: An apparatus for an aerosol generating device comprises a first housing member for at least partly defining a chamber for containing a heater arrangement for heating an aerosol generating material; and a second housing member attached to the first housing member via an attachment. The first housing member and the second housing member define therebetween a passageway into the chamber. The passageway is configured to allow an electrical connecting member for connecting to the heater arrangement to extend through the passageway. The apparatus also comprises a sealing arrangement arranged to seal the passageway. The attachment between the first housing member and the second housing member is configured to hold the first housing member and the second housing member in a configuration which causes the sealing arrangement to seal the passageway.
