  • Publication number: 20260204788
Abstract: A radiating element. The radiating element includes a first hollow conductor portion into which an electromagnetic wave is coupled. The first hollow conductor portion extends along a third axis, and has a first rectangular cross-section, a narrow side extending parallel to a first axis, and a wide side extending parallel to a second axis. The radiating element includes a second hollow conductor portion extending along a second axis, and having a second rectangular cross-section, a narrow side extending parallel to the third axis, and a wide side extends parallel to the first axis. A first dimension of the narrow side is smaller than a second dimension of the narrow side. The electromagnetic wave is fed from the first hollow conductor portion into the second hollow conductor portion via a slit in a first region and emitted via an open end of a second region of the second hollow conductor portion.

  • Publication number: 20260188884
Abstract: A waveguide including two waveguide parts. Each waveguide part has a waveguide body and a part of at least one waveguide channel, which are arranged such that they form the at least one waveguide channel when the two waveguide parts are joined together. The opposing surfaces of the two waveguide parts are configured in parallel. A pin is formed in the waveguide body of the first waveguide part, which projects in a direction of the second waveguide part. A recess receiving the pin is formed in the waveguide body of the second waveguide part. The pin and the recess are arranged coaxially relative to one another and the pin and the recess do not come into contact in the assembled state of the waveguide.

  • Publication number: 20260088513
Abstract: A power distribution device for a waveguide antenna. The power distribution device has a plurality of waveguide sections including an input waveguide section, into which an electromagnetic wave can be coupled, and a plurality of feed waveguide sections. Each feed waveguide section feeds the electromagnetic wave into a respective radiating element of the waveguide antenna for radiating the electromagnetic wave. Each waveguide section has a rectangular cross-section with narrow and long sides. A branching point for power distribution is provided, at which an incoming waveguide section branches into at least two outgoing waveguide sections. The dimensions of the narrow side of the incoming and of the at least two outgoing waveguide sections differ at least partially from one another. The waveguide sections are arranged symmetrically with respect to a plane of symmetry, wherein the plane of symmetry is parallel to the narrow sides.

  • Publication number: 20250364712
Abstract: A waveguide device. The waveguide device is mountable on a printed circuit board (PCB) and/or an integrated circuit device (MMIC), and includes: at least one bottom-side carrier, on which a first waveguide layer is arranged or which itself is designed as a first waveguide layer; a plurality of ball contact points, which are arranged in a predetermined pattern on the bottom-side carrier and at least partially surround a first lateral inner region of the first waveguide layer; at least a first top-side carrier, which is arranged in parallel with the bottom-side carrier and at least in regions opposite the first waveguide layer and at least in regions on the ball contact points, wherein at least one emission/incident aperture for radar radiation is present in the first top-side carrier and opposite the first lateral inner region.

  • Publication number: 20250300338
Abstract: The invention relates to a waveguide (1) consisting of two waveguide parts (11, 12). Each waveguide part (11, 12) has a waveguide body (111, 121) and a part (110, 120) of at least one waveguide channel (10) which are arranged such that they form the at least one waveguide channel (10) when the two waveguide parts (11, 12) are joined together. The opposing surfaces (112, 122) of the two waveguide parts are parallel. A recess (2, 23-26) is provided in a side wall (114, 124) of a waveguide channel (10). The width (b) and the height (h) of the recess (2, 23-26) are substantially smaller than half the wavelength of a signal for which the at least one waveguide channel (10) is designed.

  • Publication number: 20250110487
Abstract: A method for detecting a production error of an assembly in a manufacturing facility includes (i) providing sensor data having at least two dimensions, wherein a respective dimension of the sensor data comprises measurement data with respect to the assembly, (ii) performing a dimensional reduction of the sensor data, wherein at least one feature is extracted based on the at least two dimensions of the sensor data, (iii) reconstructing the dimension-reduced sensor data based on the at least one extracted feature to provide reconstructed sensor data, (iv) determining a reconstruction error based on a comparison of the sensor data with the reconstructed sensor data, and (v) detecting the production error of the assembly based on the determined reconstruction error. Also disclosed is a computer program, a device, and a storage medium for this purpose.
