Patent number: 11436654Abstract: In some examples, a computing device may display a build-to-order user interface to enable a default configuration of a configurable device to be modified. The computing device may receive modifications to the default configuration and modify the default configuration to create a modified configuration of the configurable device. The computing device may identify prebuilt devices with configurations matching at least a portion of the modified configuration. For example, the computing device may determine a score for individual prebuilt devices indicating how many options of the individual prebuilt device are similar or identical to corresponding options of the modified configuration of the configurable device. The computing device may display at least a portion of the matching prebuilt devices in a particular order that is based on the score associated with individual prebuilt devices. The computing device may receive a selection to acquire a particular one of the prebuilt devices.Type: GrantFiled: January 31, 2018Date of Patent: September 6, 2022Assignee: Dell Products L.P.Inventors: Andrea C. Coldwell, Nora H. Farouk, Jason B. Singh, Anil Kumar Kotha, Daniel Luna

Publication number: 20210161842Abstract: The invention relates to a new use of abscisic acid, either a pharmaceutically acceptable salt or ester of abscisic acid, for the treatment and/or prevention of a skin disease cursing with microbial biofilm formation and/or with dysbiosis of skin microbiota. In particular, it is for use in the treatment of psoriasis, acne and atopic dermatitis. The invention also discloses new pharmaceutical compositions comprising abscisic acid.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 11, 2019Publication date: June 3, 2021Inventors: Òscar EXPÓSITO TARRÉS, Albert JANÉ FONT, Sara LAPLANA LASIERRA, Maria MAS DUARTE, Tarik RUIZ MEDINA, Ana GALLEGO PALACIOS, Daniel LUNA BISTUER, Isabel Magdalena RAMOS RODRÍGUEZ

Patent number: 8409201Abstract: The present invention relates to a percutaneous patellar osteosynthesis system applicable to any type of fracture of the knee cap, formed by two arms that contain two multidirectional movable securing devices for fitting to any type of knee cap, in which the arms close in a parallel manner by means of a scissors closure mechanism in order to keep the fragments confined and secured by means of a “zipper” based on manual compression. The devices for securing the knee cap have antero-posterior, up/down and also lateral mobility in order to mobilize the fractured fragments and to achieve a reduction and a satisfactory knee cap joint congruence. The arms have slidable guides for placing the implant in any required direction in order to keep the fragments stable, the guides slide on the arms and the parallelism sought in this type of fixing is achieved without having to be based on manual calculation, the latter customarily being used in broad tissue dissection.Type: GrantFiled: May 21, 2007Date of Patent: April 2, 2013Inventor: Daniel Luna Pizarro

Patent number: 5845928Abstract: An inflatable cushion assembly for use with an inflator comprises an inflatable cushion having an inner surface, outer surface, and at least one protrusion extending from one of the inner or outer surfaces. The inflatable cushion defines an opening between the inner surface and the outer surface for receiving the inflator. An attachment member contacts the one of the inner or outer surfaces adjacent the opening and includes a groove for receiving the protrusion, the attachment member securing the inflator within the opening.Type: GrantFiled: August 19, 1997Date of Patent: December 8, 1998Assignees: Precision Fabrics Group, Inc., Sandia CorporationInventors: James M. Nelsen, Daniel A. Luna, Kenneth W. Gwinn

Patent number: 5607182Abstract: An apparatus and method for making a low cost, self-venting, inflatable protective cushion of simple and structurally efficient design with a shape and construction that optimizes the cushion's ability to withstand inflation pressures and impact when deployed which includes a sheet defined by at least one fold line and a plurality of flap portions, each flap portion having a base edge corresponding to a fold line and at least two side edges each extending outwardly from a base edge and ultimately converging to meet each other, the flap portions being folded at the fold line(s) and being joined at corresponding side edges to define an inflatable chamber. The inflatable protective cushion and method for making same may further include a lightweight, low permeability, fabric that optimizes the cushion's ability to withstand inflation pressures and impact when deployed and minimizes the packed volume of the cushion when stored.Type: GrantFiled: February 21, 1996Date of Patent: March 4, 1997Assignees: Sandia Corporation, Precision Fabrics Group, Inc.Inventors: James M. Nelsen, Larry D. Whinery, Kenneth W. Gwinn, Donald D. McBride, Daniel A. Luna, Joseph P. Holder, Richard J. Bliton
