  • Patent number: 11562081
Abstract: Methods and systems for controlling access to secure data use a custodial TRNG disk. Source data is encrypted using first key data from a first TRNG disk to generate encrypted data which is stored at a first location by a first entity. A second TRNG disk has second key data which is stored at a second location by a second entity. A first TRNG disk copy and a second TRNG disk copy are made identical to the first TRNG disk and the second TRNG disk, respectively, and are stored at one or more locations by a custodial entity. The first key data and the second key data are encoded together, and then transmitted to one or more of the first or second entities. The first quantity of encrypted data is decryptable using the encoded first key data and the second key data.

  • Patent number: 11537728
Abstract: Methods and systems for securing data using random bits and encoded key data. A plurality of true random number generator (TRNG) disks and a plurality of key data sets are provided. A key data set from the plurality of key data sets is associated with each of the plurality of TRNG disks, respectively. The key data set comprises at least a block of random bits of an associated TRNG disk. An encoded key data set is formed by encoding at least two of the key data sets together. The source data can be encrypted with the encoded key data set to produce a quantity of encrypted data. The encrypted data can be decrypted with the encoded key data set or the at least two of the key data sets retrieved from the associated TRNG disks.

  • Patent number: 11341254
Abstract: Securing data using random bits uses a TRNG disk with a plurality of random bits and a universally unique identifier (UUID). At least one TRNG disk copy is created, which is identical to the TRNG disk. The TRNG disk copy is stored in a separate physical location than the TRNG disk. Source data is received and encrypted with a block of random bits of the TRNG disk to produce encrypted data. The block of random bits of the TRNG disk has a bit offset which is a positional address of the block of random bits within the TRNG disk. The encrypted source data, the UUID, and the bit offset of the TRNG disk are communicated from a first location to at least a second location. The encrypted source data is decrypted at the second location using the UUID, the offset of the TRNG disk, and the TRNG disk copy.

  • Patent number: 11108550
Abstract: Systems and methods for secure network communications of data using quantum key distribution (QKD) are presented. Source data is provided. The source data is encrypted to produce encrypted data and key data corresponding to the encrypted data. Using QKD, the key data is transmitted from a first network location to a second network location. Successful transmission of the key data to the second location is verified, and upon verification, the encrypted data is transmitted from the first network location to the second network location using QKD. Successful transmission of the encrypted data to the second location is verified, and upon verification, the encrypted data is decrypted with the key data to provide a data output.

  • Patent number: 10984138
Abstract: Systems and methods for generating secure data for transport are presented. A data storage controller is electronically coupled with the data source. A first data storage device is electronically coupled with the data storage controller, the first data storage device configured to store encrypted data. A second data storage device is electronically coupled with the data storage controller, the second data storage device configured to store key data. A random bit size generator generates a random bit size corresponding with every write request of the data source of a size equal to the random bit size. A random key generator generates a random key equal to or greater in size than the random bit size. An encryption operator encrypts the data source of the size with the random key.

  • Patent number: 5226141
Abstract: A variable length cache system keeps track of the amount of available space on an output device. The capacity of the cache system is continuously increased so long as it is less than the available output space on the output unit. Once the size of the cache system exceeds the available output space on the output unit, which is less than the total space available on the output unit by a predetermined amount, the contents of the cache memory are flushed or written to the output device and the size of the cache memory is reduced to zero.
