  • Patent number: 7416513
Abstract: The invention refers to a self-propelled working machine comprising ground engaging means that are in drive connection with an engine for propelling the working machine, a desired speed input means having a range of movement for inputting a desired speed, a control unit receiving a desired speed signal from the desired speed input means and controlling an actuator that is influencing the speed of the ground engaging means based upon the desired speed signal.

  • Patent number: 7059960
Abstract: A composite threshing element, for a rotor in an agricultural harvester crop processing unit, comprising a hollow support structure with at least one outwardly extending crop engaging portion, and a forwardly extending infeed element attachment feature. The rotor comprises a drum to which crop processing elements for an infeed section and a threshing section are affixed. The threshing element is bolted to a frusto-conical portion of the rotor drum, with a portion of an infeed element bolting to the infeed element attachment feature.

  • Patent number: 7001268
Abstract: In an agricultural combine, a latch mechanism for attaching a grate to the crop processing unit. The latch mechanism comprises a support bar on the crop processing unit, a support receptacle on the grate, a latch handle, and a latch retainer. The support receptacle envelopes the support bar the when the grate is attached to the crop processing unit, with the latch handle and latch retainer cooperating to hold the support receptacle against the support bar.

  • Patent number: 6375564
Abstract: A rotary combine is equipped with a rotor that has a separating portion having at least one ramp segment mounted to the rotor. The ramp segments provide an inclined face that directs the grain radially outward as the ramp segments move through the crop material. The ramp segments are intermixed with tines on the separator section of the rotor. The ramp segments provide a face that is trapezoidal in shape, having inwardly inclined front and rear edges so that the radially distal edge of the face is shorter than the proximal edge of the face. The trapezoidal shape of the ramp segments assists the ramp segments in shedding crop material and thereby preventing the crop material from becoming entangled thereon.

  • Patent number: 6193604
Abstract: A concave for an agricultural combine having an array of straight rectangular bars and straight round bars spaced from one another and extending axially of the rotor or cylinder to form a threshing surface and to form openings therebetween for grain to pass through. The round bars shed crop material to reduce plugging while the rectangular bars provide an aggressive threshing edge. Smaller diameter wires can be inserted between the round and rectangular bars to reduce the opening size for use with small grains.
