  • Publication number: 20260163408
Abstract: A system includes a reservoir containing a fluid, one or more objects in physical contact with the fluid, each of the one or more objects having a respective induction coil embedded therein, at least one conductive coil in the reservoir, and a control device having a hardware processor and a memory storing a control application. The hardware processor is configured to execute the control application to receive an input to initiate an activity using the one or more objects and provide, in response to receiving the input, a first electric current in the at least one conductive coil. Wherein each of the one or more objects is powered by a respective second electric current generated in the respective induction coil of each of the one or more objects, in response to the first electric current, to perform the activity.

  • Publication number: 20260016699
Abstract: A system may include a first polarizer to create polarized light having a polarization, a substrate that maintains the polarization and allows a first pass-through of the polarized light, and a graphic layer that maintains the polarization and allows a second pass-through of the polarized light, the graphic layer including a first image. The system may include a second polarizer separate from the substrate and the graphic layer and configured to enable a visualization of a second image different than the first image. The graphic layer may include perforations to allow the second pass-through of the polarized light. The first polarizer and substrate may be embodied in a display. The graphic layer may be placed on the display, such as on the substrate.

  • Publication number: 20250355212
Abstract: A system may include an image plane, a scrim layer, and a lens stack positioned between the image plane and the scrim layer. The lens stack may be positioned at a first distance from the image plane to create a perceived image at a second distance away from the lens stack. The first and second distances may be equal. The image source may be spaced away from the lens stack and on a first side of the lens stack. The scrim layer may be positioned on a second side of the lens stack. The lens stack may include a pair of lenses (e.g., identical Fresnel lenses) stacked facing each other. A bounce mirror positioned between the image plane and the lens stack may fold an optical path from the image plane to the lens stack. Additional systems and associated methods are also disclosed.

  • Patent number: 12399666
Abstract: A system may include a first portion providing a first scene (e.g., a day scene) of an image, a second portion providing a second scene (e.g., a night scene) of the image, and means (e.g., a backlight) for transitioning the system from the first scene to the second scene. The first portion may be a first mode stack, and the second portion may be a second mode stack. The second mode stack may include a greater number of layers compared to the first mode stack. A filter may be positioned between the stacks. The first mode may be visible based on light directed onto the first mode stack. Selective activation of the backlight may transition the system from the first mode to the second mode, such as shifting or augmenting the image from the first mode to the second mode. Additional systems and associated methods are also disclosed.

  • Patent number: 11602648
Abstract: An airflow device configured for creating an air barrier includes a fan, a power source, a laminar assembly, and an attachment mechanism. The power source is coupled to the fan. The laminar assembly includes a plurality of tubes and is coupled to the fan so that air flow generated by the fan passes through the plurality of tubes to create the air barrier. The attachment mechanism attaches the laminar assembly to a user in a location near the user's head such that the air barrier created by the laminar assembly is positioned in front of the user's face. A plenum is positioned between the fan and the laminar assembly such that the air flow generated by the fan passes through the plenum and then through the laminar assembly. The airflow device acts as a face shield that protects the user from airborne contaminants and viruses.

  • Patent number: 8801190
Abstract: A mirror is at least partially transparent on a first side and at least partially reflective on a second side. The mirror is positioned at an angle in front of a display such that visible light emitted from the display is reflected from the second side. Further, the a plurality of invisible light emitters are positioned in front of the second side that transmits the invisible light through the mirror from the second side to the first side.
