Abstract: An press is described useful for pressuring a plant, such as an herb, or portion of the plant to yield fluids (e.g., oil, juice). The press includes a lower plate and an upper plate connected by a number of posts perpendicular to the plates. Each plate includes two or more bars and channels between the bars. When the plates meet, the bars' upper surfaces can overlap with those from the opposite plate, pressing the plant in between. A rack can be used for loading the plant into the press and rack holders can be placed on the lower plate to guide and receive the rack.
