The channel list includes an associated category and indicators of the multiple channels, the multiple channels each carrying at least some programming in the associated category. The EPG manager presents to a user at least some of the multiple channels in an electronic program guide. A channel selection of the channel identifier associated with the orderable television event is received. In response to receiving the channel selection, the preview video content for the orderable television event is output for presentation to the user as a full-screen display.
