  • Patent number: 11151282
Abstract: A method of providing material based on a user-initiated request utilizing an electronic database includes receiving search keywords to conduct a search and accessing a first database having previously stored contact information for the particular user in an initial table record. The method includes transforming data in the fields of the record for the particular user in the initial table to generate a record in a sanitized table, accessing a second electronic database having previously stored data structures corresponding to businesses, where each data structure maps selected keyword combinations to corresponding icons, and to particular material corresponding to each keyword combination, and displaying icons associated with search results having corresponding selected keywords near associated result items on an electronic display.

  • Patent number: 11151805
Abstract: Systems and methods for processing distribution items having unique identifiers affixed thereon. The unique identifiers can include computer readable codes and written alphanumeric strings generated by a user. • Publication number: 20210312764
Abstract: Systems and techniques for providing multilevel autonomous tournaments for wagering game are provided. In some implementations, players may earn entry into such a tournament by meeting one or more criteria and then be associated with a tournament entry for that tournament. Each tournament entry may be associated with a set of tournament entries and, after a requisite number of tournament entries for a given tournament entry set has been associated with players, a selection of a tournament entry, and thus at least implicitly a player, may be made. The players selected in such a selection event may then be associated with a tournament entry in a next-highest tournament tier. Such selections may occur until a single player is selected from the highest-ranked tournament tier of the tournament.

  • Publication number: 20210304565
Abstract: A feature game presented on a gaming machine after a base game includes symbols having corresponding values which may be incremented based at least in part on a random determination during an instance of the feature game. Such symbols and their associated values may persist through one or more subsequent instances of the feature game. In some embodiments values of individual symbols may be incremented multiple times.

  • Patent number: 11133688
Abstract: Methods and apparatus to charge electric vehicles are disclosed. An example method includes receiving, at a processor, a request for a mobile charging unit to meet an electric vehicle to provide a battery charge to the electric vehicle. The request is generated by the electric vehicle when a ratio of a remaining trip distance of the electric vehicle to a remaining expected range of the electric vehicle exceeds a threshold. The example method further includes identifying, via the processor, a location for the battery charge based on input from a user of the electric vehicle regarding a plurality of possible locations for the battery charge.

  • Publication number: 20210295658
Abstract: A communal gaming system provides a communal game to players of electronic gaming devices. The system includes a plurality of EGMs, each EGM includes a trigger condition identifying when the player is awarded participation in the communal game. The system also includes a communal game display configured to display a communal game play area. The system (a) begins a game cycle for a game instance of the communal game; (b) receives, from a first device and in response to detecting the trigger condition, a communal participation trigger message; (c) awards a participation entry in the game cycle to the player; (d) transmits, to the first device, a participation award message indicating successfully entry of the player in the game cycle; (e) conducts the communal game, thereby generating an award outcome of the communal game for the player; and (f) awards the player based on the generated award outcome.

  • Patent number: 11120332
Abstract: Opto-electronic devices can evaluate convolutional neural networks with reduced power consumption and higher speeds using optical metamaterial structures. Methods and systems for convolution of an input vector f with a kernel k can include a first optical element that is adjustable according to the input vector f and a second optical element that is adjustable according to the kernel k, where either or both elements can include adjustable optical metasurfaces. In some approaches, the second optical element is adjustable according to a Fourier transform of the kernel k and is interposed between first and second lenses or volumetric metamaterials implementing Fourier and inverse Fourier transforms, respectively.

  • Publication number: 20210245167
Abstract: Roller packages (IO) for grinding devices (70), comprising a first roller (II), which is maintained by at least one first bearing body (13), and a second roller (12), which is maintained by at least one second bearing body (14). The first bearing body (13) and the second bearing body (14) are prestressed against each other and comprise stop elements (17, 19) with stop surfaces (18, 20), the contact of which counteracts a contact of the rollers (II, 12). The rotational position of the first stop element (17) determines the minimum width of the grinding gap. Also disclosed are grinding devices (70), methods for operating a roller group (IO) and methods for determining the radial force acting between the rollers (II, 12) of a roller group (IO).

  • Publication number: 20210248864
Abstract: Some implementations may involve presenting a feature game round that includes a hold and spin stage and a free game stage. The free game stage may be presented after the hold and spin stage. In some examples, the number of free game instances may correspond to the number of configurable symbols accumulated by the conclusion of the hold and spin stage. In some instances, at least one of the configurable symbols accumulated by the conclusion of the hold and spin stage may indicate a modifier for the free game stage. The modifier may correspond with a modification of one or more reels that are used during a free game instance. In some examples, at least one of the configurable symbols accumulated during the hold and spin stage may indicate a multiplier for an award that is determined during a first free game instance.

  • Publication number: 20210241572
Abstract: A gaming machine provides a spinning reel game having a base game, from which a hold and spin feature game is triggered when a determined number of configurable symbols are displayed in a base game outcome. When the feature game is triggered, the configurable symbols are held in place on the display and the player is provided one or more spins during the feature game in which to collect additional configurable symbols. Any additional configurable symbols are retained on the display during subsequent spins until the feature game is completed. For each spin that includes additional configurable symbols, one or more awards are determined in an iterative manner that includes award values from any configurable symbols in the previous outcomes.

  • Publication number: 20210229930
Abstract: A sorting machine can include an output bin that includes a transport belt to transport a delivery item (e.g., a letter) from a distribution belt at a first speed. The output bin can include a braking roller to reduce the speed of the delivery item by operating at a second tangential speed that is slower than the first speed. The output bin can also include an auger assembly to apply a force to move at least the trailing portion of the item in a manner that clears the path to the braking roller for additional delivery items. The output bin can also include a bumper pad to stop the delivery item, where the delivery item is stopped against the bumper pad after being slowed down by contact with the braking roller. The slowed speed causes the delivery item to come to rest approximately in alignment with additional delivery items.
