  • Patent number: 10509381
Abstract: An electric or gas range may be monitored or controlled with an integrated appliance assistant. The range may include multiple sensors, such as sensors measuring temperature proximate to a burner, power usage by the burner (e.g., electricity or gas consumption), temperature proximate to an oven, or power usage by the oven. The measurements received from the sensors may be processed by a control board, and the control board may be configured to turn off a burner and/or the oven based on the measurements. Such an electric or gas range may provide increased safety by turning off a burner or the oven in the event of a fire or a person accidentally leaving it on.

  • Patent number: 10384338
Abstract: A robotic vehicle is provided with an extendable arm and a mandible structure. The mandible structure includes a pair of mandibles with toothed portions that cooperatively engage such that the mandibles may be opened and closed by applying a force to only one of the pair of mandibles. The mandible structure hangs freely from the extendable arm and is balanced so that the mandible structure naturally maintains a substantially vertical orientation. In the closed position, the mandible structure defines an interior cavity suitable for securely grasping a ring.

  • Publication number: 20190233046
Abstract: A bicycle comprises a main frame defining a spring mount, a pivot mount, and a reinforcing strut substantially directly connecting the spring mount to the pivot mount. The reinforcing strut is asymmetrically positioned on one side of the central plane. A rear frame is movable relative to the main frame, a pivot link couples the main frame to the rear frame, and a spring assembly couples a portion of the pivot link to the main frame. The pivot link comprises a left link member, a right link member, and a link bridge connecting the left link member to the right link member. Preferably, the link bridge is positioned rearward of a seat tube on the main frame. The rear frame comprises a seatstay bridge connecting a left and right seatstays.
