  • Patent number: 11938391
Abstract: The present invention provides a training pad for preventing injury to a trainer, in particular a boxing trainer, when presenting the training pad for striking, and further provides a focused location for receiving repeated strikes, comprising a target pad having a target surface and a resiliently deformable region located behind the target surface, and a securing member configured to secure the target pad to a first arm segment adjacent to a second arm segment. The first arm segment is proximal to the second arm segment. The resiliently deformable region is arranged to substantially absorb the energy of a strike received at the target surface, and the target surface is configured to indicate to a user a strike may be made thereon.

  • Publication number: 20070200030
Abstract: Baffle seals having low coefficients of friction and materials for constructing such baffle seals are disclosed herein. A baffle seal of one embodiment comprises a sheet of material sized to seal a gap between an aircraft's baffle and cowl. The sheet of material has a contact side for contacting a cowl contact surface, and the contact side has a kinetic coefficient of friction that is not more than 0.4. In an embodiment, a sheet of material for forming an aircraft baffle seal is provided. The sheet includes a flexible primary layer and a flexible contact layer presenting a contact side. The contact side has a kinetic coefficient of friction that is not more than 0.4.

  • Publication number: 20060124821
Abstract: A seat track repair device is disclosed for an aircraft seat track which has a rail, a support member depending from the rail, a first arm extending in a first direction laterally away from the support member and a second arm extending in a second direction laterally away from the support member, the first direction being opposite to the second direction. The seat track device includes an elongate member having a first and a second end. The elongate member has a replacement rail which has an upper and a lower extremity. A first wing extends laterally away from the lower extremity of the replacement rail and a second wing extends laterally away from the lower extremity of the replacement rail and away from the first wing.
