  • Patent number: 7303608
Abstract: In a system for collecting gas from a subsurface body of contaminated water, a site collects unabsorbed reactive gas from the subsurface body of contaminated water. In addition, a vacuum source is connected to the site. Furthermore, a controller regulates a flow of the reactive gas from the site to the vacuum source.

  • Publication number: 20060131244
Abstract: In a system for remediating a subsurface body of contaminated water a gas delivery system delivers chemically reactive gas to the subsurface body of contaminated water and a gas recovery system removes excess chemically reactive gas from the subsurface body of contaminated water. The gas delivery system includes a supply of chemically reactive gas, an outflow controller for controlling outflow of chemically reactive gas from the supply, a delivery site for delivering chemically reactive gas from the supply into the body of contaminated water, and a delivery line in fluid communication with the outflow controller and the delivery site. The delivery line extends into the subsurface through an entry hole. In addition, the delivery line extend below an upper surface of the body of contaminated water.
