  • Publication number: 20260078305
Abstract: Processes and systems for converting a hydrocarbon mixture to produce olefins including a first preheater, one or more separation systems, a secondary transferline exchanger, a thermal cracking heater, a primary transferline exchanger, and a flow line. The process includes preheating a hydrocarbon feed, separating the preheated hydrocarbon stream, heating the vaporized hydrocarbon, and heating the liquid hydrocarbon stream. The process includes cracking the heated hydrocarbon stream and the second vaporized hydrocarbon stream, feeding the cracked hydrocarbon product stream to a primary transferline exchanger, and feeding the cooled hydrocarbon product stream to the secondary transferline exchanger.

  • Publication number: 20250170607
Abstract: A cap for use with a sleeve that receives a chub having material to be expelled through the cap. The cap has a base with a lower face with a downwardly depending skirt for receiving in or about an end of the sleeve. The base and the skirt define a cap body having an open interior. A bore extends through the base. One or more downwardly depending barbs are positioned on the lower face and about the bore. The barbs pierce the end of the chub when the skirt is received in or about an end of the sleeve, the chub is received within a longitudinal passageway through the sleeve, and the chub is advanced toward the cap and against the barbs. The barbs encourage movement of a portion of the end surface of the chub away from the bore as the chub is forced against the barbs.

  • Publication number: 20250027643
Abstract: A heater includes a radiant section with a bottom wall and a side wall. A burner is provided on the bottom wall and a primary fuel stream and a primary combustion air stream are provided through the burner to support a primary combustion reaction local to the burner. The primary combustion air stream may be less than the air needed to burn all of the primary fuel stream, resulting in the primary combustion reaction being sub-stochiometric and reducing NOx formation. A remote air pipe injects remote air into the radiant section distal to the burner, and in some cases, spaced from the burner by at least two meters. The remote air addition supports a lean secondary combustion reaction that further minimizes NOx emissions concentration. The heater is suitable for use with high H2 fuel or preheated air, or both, to lower CO2 emissions while meeting NOx emission targets.

  • Publication number: 20120286506
Abstract: A manifold housing which includes an inlet end for receiving fluid in communication with a main channel defined within the housing. The housing includes a series of outlets in fluid communication with the main channel. The outlets are for connecting outlet pipes thereto, wherein the inlet end having inlet threads for receiving standard pipe threaded fittings therein. Preferably the outlets of the manifold housing includes upwardly projecting lugs attached at one end to a bottom of the outlet, wherein the lugs for abutting with a lug end of a crimp ring used to secure an outlet pipe to the outlet.
