    Abstract: An apparatus (200) for receiving a digital terrestrial broadcast television signal in combination with another signal from another source includes a modular housing (400) enclosing a radio frequency tuner (211) for receiving the digital terrestrial broadcast television signals and a consumer premise component (320). The consumer premise component (320) includes an external housing (310) enclosing a tuner (210) to receive the other signal and a modular port (330) to accept the modular housing. The modular housing (340) is disposable in the modular port (330). A diplexer (212) can be externally mounted to the apparatus (200). The diplexer (212) includes an input (147) to accept a combined radio frequency signal that includes the other signal and the digital terrestrial broadcast television signal; a first output (142) to couple to the tuner (210); and a second output (143) to couple to the removable radio frequency tuner (211).
