  • Publication number: 20240096104
Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for implementing a vehicle shadow service configured to construct and maintain up-to-date vehicle shadows using asynchronously received disaggregated vehicle data. For example, different sensors of a vehicle may provide sensor data into a data stream at different times in a disaggregated manner. A vehicle shadow may be constructed using partial sensor data from a sub-set of sensors of the vehicle, and may be updated or augmented using asynchronously received sensor data from other sensors of the vehicle.

  • Publication number: 20230126355
Abstract: According to an embodiment, a system comprises one or more processors and one or more computer-readable non-transitory storage media comprising instructions that, when executed by the one or more processors, cause one or more components of the system to perform operations. The operations comprise determining that an endpoint device has requested to discover a location of a protected resource that is protected by a gateway, determining whether the endpoint device has provided a token that is valid, and permitting the endpoint device to discover the location of the protected resource based on determining that the endpoint device has provided the token that is valid. The token indicates that the endpoint device successfully completed a first multi-factor authentication procedure in connection with accessing an authentication enforcement resource.

  • Patent number: 9034641
Abstract: Disclosed are systems and methods for coupling translation of a target gene to a detectable response gene. A version of the invention includes a translation-coupling cassette. The translation-coupling cassette includes a target gene, a response gene, a response-gene translation control element, and a secondary structure-forming sequence that reversibly forms a secondary structure masking the response-gene translation control element. Masking of the response-gene translation control element inhibits translation of the response gene. Full translation of the target gene results in unfolding of the secondary structure and consequent translation of the response gene. Translation of the target gene is determined by detecting presence of the response-gene protein product.

  • Publication number: 20130046219
Abstract: A neonatal cranial support bonnet is configured to prevent a premature child's head from deforming under the force of its own weight, because of underdeveloped cranial plates. The bonnet includes a thin cotton shell with contoured gel packs inside. The gel packs are configured to distribute weight around the skull and eliminate or reduce high-pressure points so as to maintain proper shape of the cranium. The bonnet is also configured to not interfere with development, and to not obstruct airways for breathing, so as to meet current Sudden Infant Death Syndrome prevention guidelines.

  • Publication number: 20060195595
Abstract: A client stores a first set of workspace data, and is coupled via a computer network to a global server. The client may be configured to synchronize portions of the first set of workspace data with the global server, which stores independently modifiable copies of the portions. The global server may also store workspace data which is not downloaded from the client, and thus stores a second set of workspace data. The global server may be configured to identify and authenticate a user seeking global server access from a remote terminal, and is configured to provide access to the first set or to the second set. Further, services may be stored anywhere in the computer network. The global server may be configured to provide the user with access to the services. The system may further include a synchronization-start module at the client site (which may be protected by a firewall) that initiates interconnection and synchronization with the global server when predetermined criteria have been satisfied.
