  • Publication number: 20220237668
Abstract: This disclosure describes systems, methods, and devices related to linear regression models and machine learning models for generating vehicle prices. A device may receive information associated with a vehicle, information associated with a dealer selling the vehicle, and market information indicative of previous sales of similar vehicles. The device may generate probabilities of sale of the vehicle at respective price positions based on the information. The device may generate a price elasticity curve for the vehicle based on the probabilities of sale. The device may generate a vehicle score represented by a supply line that is associated with the vehicle based on the information. The device may identify a first intersection of the supply line and the price elasticity curve, generate a market rank based on the intersection, and generate a recommended price for the vehicle based on the market rank as an input to a machine learning model.

  • Patent number: 10876741
Abstract: A hydronic water heating system heats water for various types of heat emitters. A boiler assembly includes a user interface which receives user-defined water temperature set point corresponding to a minimum outdoor temperature, and an integrated controller generates a nonlinear outdoor reset curve between the user-defined set point and a second set point corresponding to maximum outdoor temperature for which heating is required, and regulates the boiler to heat water to a temperature corresponding to a set point along the nonlinear output reset curve and based on a detected outdoor temperature. The nonlinear outdoor reset curve may be generated based on aggregated heat output functions for various types of heat emitters. A linear outdoor reset curve may be generated between a maximum water temperature set point and the user-defined set point, having a slope equal to an instantaneous slope of the nonlinear outdoor reset curve at the user-defined set point.

The device may determine, based on the odometer reading, an odometer-adjusted Cost to Market for the first vehicle. The device may determine, based on the daily sale rate during the period of time, a Market Day's Supply of the first vehicle. The device may determine, based on the Market Day's Supply and the odometer-adjusted Cost to Market, a vehicle score of the first vehicle. The device may send presentation data indicative of the vehicle score.

  • Patent number: 8182000
Abstract: A latch mechanism is provided for securing a storage compartment door within a vehicle. The latch mechanism includes a mounting bracket, a handle, and an undivided, one piece latching member. The latching member includes a main body portion, a first pliable leg portion, a second pliable leg portion, a first post portion, and a second post portion. The latching member is in a relaxed position when the handle is in the latched position and a flexed position when the handle is in the unlatched position. The handle includes at least one abutment member for displacing the main body portion of the latching member as the handle is pivoted from the latched position to the unlatched position. Displacement of the main body portion causes the first and second pliable leg portions to resiliently retract which retracts the first post member and the second post member from extended post positions to retracted post positions.
