  • Patent number: 11878710
Abstract: The disclosure relates to a method for performing a correction of a direction of travel by a driver assistance system in a motor vehicle. The disclosure provides that a need for correcting a direction of travel is recognized by a control device of the driver assistance system in order to continue operating the motor vehicle within a currently traveled lane, at least one display symbol is output by an output apparatus to display the correction of the direction of travel to be performed and being performed, and the correction of the direction of travel is performed by controlling steering of the motor vehicle.

  • Publication number: 20220358840
Abstract: The invention relates to a motor vehicle having a positioning system for determining the position (and for example the orientation) of the motor vehicle, wherein the motor vehicle comprises a communication interface for reading in parking space information (via a wireless communication system), wherein the parking space information comprises the position of the parking space and for example the size of the parking space, wherein the motor vehicle comprises a tracking module for determining the position of the parking space in relation to the position (as well as for example the orientation) of the motor vehicle as well as an image generator for determining the position of a virtual image component on a transparent display (of the motor vehicle) depending on the position of the parking space in relation to the position (as well as for example the orientation) of the motor vehicle.

  • Publication number: 20220277496
Abstract: A park assistance system for a motor vehicle is presented that has a distance sensor system for generating a sensor signal depending on a lateral distance to an object. A computing unit of the park assistance system generates graphics data based on the sensor signal, and contains an augmented reality system for superimposing a graphic element onto a field of view of a driver. An extension of the graphic element along a vertical axis depends on a value of the distance.

  • Publication number: 20220250474
Abstract: Technologies and techniques for human-machine interaction in a motor vehicle, wherein a first graphical element is superimposed into a visual field of a user via an AR system such that the element is arranged within a display region. A scrolling input signal is detected via an input interface and a sensor system to determine a highlighted direction. Using a computing unit, a scrolling path is determined on the basis of the highlighted direction. Using the AR system, the first graphical element is moved out of the display region along the scrolling path, depending on the scrolling input signal.

  • Patent number: 10766498
Abstract: A method, a device, and a computer-readable storage medium with instructions for controlling a display of an augmented reality display device for a transportation vehicle. The presence of a driving situation is detected, in which a warning is displayed to a driver of the transportation vehicle; the augmented reality display device generates a virtual object for display; the virtual object visualizes potential imminent events, actions or dangerous situations; the virtual object has moving graphical elements that simulate a movement of the virtual object; and the augmented reality display device outputs the generated virtual object for display.
