Abstract: The present disclosure relates to compounds of Formula (I) which are multimeric forms of a monomeric binding peptide linearly bonded to PEG moieties to form the multimers. The multimeric forms stimulate angiogenesis and promote wound healing. The disclosure also includes pharmaceutical compositions comprising the multimers, including compositions suitable for topical or systemic administration.

Abstract: A mattress guard with one or more inflatable bumpers to prevent patients or older adults from accidentally rolling out of or falling out of bed, and also to avoid the patients or older adults from being trapped in hard/rigid bed rails. A mattress cover includes a fitted mattress sheet, one or more inflatable bumpers, and an air pump system to inflate and deflate the one or more bumpers. At least one of the bumpers has a length and a position that optimizes safety and allows for common user movements without requiring deflation of the bumper. A dual pump system may include primary pump with higher inflation rate to initially inflate one or more bumpers and a secondary pump with lower inflation rate and/or that is quieter to maintain inflation of the bumper(s). An alert system can provide alerts to relatives or staff if a patient is endangered.

Abstract: A system includes a display, a database that may store multiple documentation relating to an industrial or machine part, and a processor. The processor may present a graphical user interface (GUI) on the display, and the GUI includes multiple input objects and an output object. The processor may also receive a reference code and at least one documentation type via the multiple input objects. Further, the processor may search the database for at least one documentation associated with the reference code and the at least one documentation type. In addition, the processor may retrieve the at least one documentation from the database. The processor may then display a visualization in the output object of the GUI, and the visualization includes a list of the at least one documentation retrieved from the database.

Abstract: An instructional golf club for a user having a swing orientation includes a shaft having a first end and a second end. A club head is secured to the second end. A grip is secured to the first end and includes a first portion configured to receive a first hand of the user and a second portion configured to receive a second hand of the user. The second portion is spaced from the first portion such that the first and second hands of the user are spaced from one another along the grip. A level indicator indicates when the shaft extends parallel to the ground.

Abstract: An algorithm for the high-speed detection of temporal motion in a video signal by means of a digital high-pass filter which is applied to corresponding digital picture elements in sequential video frames. The resulting array of filtered values represents areas which are in motion within the video sequence, typically in the form of an outline of the objects that are in motion. This resulting array may subsequently be used for video bandwidth compression through the selective encoding of only the image areas which are in motion. The resulting array may also be used for the detection of coherent motion within the video signal through identification of the outline of the objects that are in motion.

Abstract: A component comprises a multiplicity of cooling passages arranged in two intersecting arrays to form a multiplicity of cooling passage intersections. Air jet interactions are generated at cooling passage intersections when air is passed through the cooling passages. The spacing of the passages in at least one of the arrays is chosen to provide a predetermined range of intersection density in a selected region or regions of the component.

Abstract: A weather resistant textile article comprising: a primary outer shell having an edge at least partially defining an opening for wearing the article; and a moisture wicking lining attached to at least the primary outer shell. In the preferred embodiment, the article includes a secondary outer shell attached to the primary outer shell. Also, in the preferred embodiment, the article includes a moisture permeable adhesive layer joining the shell and the lining.
