  • Patent number: 7094968
Abstract: The invention relates to a fitting for a liquid-tight cable leadthrough in an opening (1) in a solid surface (2), which solid surface can be gripped from the back, wherein said fitting comprises an upper boundary plate (4) that covers the opening (1), an elastic moulded element (3) that flatly contacts and is connected to the upper boundary plate (4) and can be at least partially inserted into the opening (1), a lower boundary plate (8) that can be lead through the opening (1), wherein the lower boundary plate flatly contacts and is connected to the elastic moulded element (3) on the opposite side of the elastic moulded element (3) referred to the upper boundary plate (4), a locking plate (9) that can be moved relative to the lower boundary plate (8) and is providable with at least two pivoted locking elements (17), wherein said locking elements are supported between pairs of mounting limbs (20) by element of a bolt (22) and can be pivoted between a position in which the locking plate (9) can be lead through

  • Patent number: 6743976
Abstract: A conduit channel is recessed in an aircraft cabin floor, extends longitudinally along the cabin, and receives electrical devices and conductor lines of an in-flight entertain system. The conduit channel is formed by a cover plate and a Z-sectional member including a vertical middle web and horizontal upper and lower flanges projecting in opposite directions from upper and lower edges of the middle web. The lower flange is supported on a floor crossbeam. The upper flange is supported on a side flange of a longitudinal seat mounting rail. An edge rim of the cover plate rests on the upper flange and has keyhole-shaped cable pass-through openings spaced along the longitudinal direction. A cable guide element is mounted on a selected pass-through opening to guide a cable out of the channel. Unused pass-through openings are closed by blind inserts. The devices and conductor lines can be variably arranged in the channel.
