    Abstract: Methods for making a B-stage thiol-cured urethane acrylate elastomeric film are provided. At least a urethane acrylate oligomer, a multifunctional thiol, and a base catalyst are combined to form a thiol terminated B-stage elastomer. The thiol terminated B-stage elastomer is exposed to an ultraviolet photoinitiator in the presence of an allyl ether terminated urethane to form the B-stage thiol-cured urethane acrylate elastomeric film. In some embodiments the B-stage thiol-cured urethane acrylate elastomeric film is used for a soft actuator application such as a fluidic elastomer actuator application or an electrostatic zipping actuator application.

The spool valve has internal channels for selectively passing liquids through the spool valve in the open orientation and not in the closed orientation. The spool valve also has a channel for selectively passing a gas through the spool valve in both the open and closed orientations.

Installation of the network sensor package on the network sensor host causes execution of the network sensor container that further causes deployment of an on-premise network sensor along with a network sensor management system, a DPI system, and an intrusion detection/prevention (IDS/IPS) system. The configurable on-premise network sensor is deployed on multiple operating system distributions of the network sensor host and generates actionable network metadata using DPI techniques for optimized log search and management and improved intrusion detection and response (IDR) operations.

    Abstract: Membrane filtration systems can be used to purify liquid streams for downstream use. In practice, foulant can build-up on the surface of a membrane within a filtration system over time. The effectiveness of the filtration system will deteriorate if the fouling is not properly controlled. In some examples, a method of controlling membrane fouling in a pressurized membrane system involves supplying a feed stream that is predominately air mixed with water to the membrane. In other words, the feed stream a greater volume of air than water, even though it is the water being processed by the membrane. Supplying the pressurized membrane system with a feed stream that contains a greater volume of air than water can yield significantly better performance than supplying the membrane with a feed stream that contains a greater volume of water than air.

The end can be pointed, fanned or have other shapes that further be used to pick or strum individual strings. Using the different areas can produce different sounds and in addition, striking the strings at different locations along the length of the strings can produce different tonal effects. A raised area can exist in the center or off-center of the guitar pick stick and allows the user to rub the raised area of the guitar pick stick across one or a variety of strings to provide a different acoustical sound.
