    Abstract: A method and apparatus for tracking and mitigating phase noise in a communication receiver are disclosed. The phase noise tracking and mitigation apparatus operates in a recursive manner and includes a quantizer for determining data symbols from noise-compensated input values, a phase noise estimator for determining raw phase noise values from the data symbols and a first sequence of uncompensated input values, an error concealment module for removing unreliable samples from the raw phase noise values, a filter operable to filter the raw phase noise values to produce filtered phase noise values, and a phase-noise compensator for determining noise-compensated output values dependent upon the filtered phase noise values and the first sequence of uncompensated input values. Filter coefficients, and initial noise-compensated input values are determined from one or more second sequences of uncompensated input values corresponding to known symbols corrupted by phase noise.

The drink dispenser uses a container, a spigot that may be mated to a lid adapted to fit a corresponding cup. The spigot extends from an outside portion of the container, and has a lever, cylindrical nozzle, and threaded cylindrical locking collar. The lid has a threaded cylindrical spout that may be mated to the spigot, such that rotation of the lever causes the threads of the collar to engage the threads of the spot. This causes the lid to become releasably affixed to the spigot for purposes of leak-free dispensing of the liquid from the container. The drink dispenser may also employ a mixing rake, cooling tray, spill catching tray, and cup dispenser.

A client node comprises a database containing identification data and access procedure data associated with a plurality of wireless network access nodes and credentials data associated with the client node. The client node receives identification data associated with a wireless network access node. The client node then processes the identification data to locate access procedure data in the database corresponding to the wireless network access node. Once identified, the client node then uses the access procedure data to provide its credential data to the wireless network access node. In response, the wireless network access node processes the credential data for approval, and once it is approved, grants the client node access.
