  • Patent number: 9281088
Abstract: In a nuclear installation, an instrument includes a sensor module connected to a process flange. The sensor module includes a support conduit with support conduit threads. An electronic circuit is wired to a connector that includes a key that is aligned with field circuit contacts of the connector. A thermal and nuclear radiation shield encloses the electronic circuit and includes a shock protection annulus. The connector is secured inside the shock protection annulus. The thermal and nuclear radiation shield includes shield threads that rotatably engage the support conduit threads to rotate an alignment of the key relative to the process flange.

  • Patent number: 8720277
Abstract: A process pressure measurement system includes a remote seal assembly configured to couple to a process. The system has a remote seal diaphragm with a first side adapted to contact a process fluid and a second side adapted to contact a fill fluid. A first capillary conduit has a first coupling and is coupled to the remote seal and is filled with the fill fluid. A second capillary conduit is coupled to a process fluid pressure transmitter. The second capillary conduit is filled with the fill fluid. A second coupling is coupled to the second capillary conduit and to the first coupling to provide fluidic communication from the remote seal diaphragm to the pressure inlet of the process fluid pressure transmitter. At least one of the first and second couplings is sized to pass through a penetration in a process containment barrier.

  • Patent number: 7448275
Abstract: A pressure measurement system includes a co-planar pressure sensor module coupled to a bi-planar pressure flange. The co-planar pressure sensor module has a pair of isolator diaphragms that are substantially co-planar with one another. A plurality of connection rings are welded proximate and about respective isolator diaphragms. A bi-planar pressure flange is welded to each of the connection rings. Fluidic coupling from a process fluid pressure inlet of the bi-planar flange to an isolator diaphragm of the co-planar pressure module occurs without encountering any compressive seals. A method of manufacturing a pressure measurement system is also provided.
