  • Patent number: 12627772
Abstract: A system includes a plurality of satellites in orbit around a celestial body in a plurality of orbital planes. Each satellite includes an imaging device having a field of view (FOV) to capture an image of a sky that includes celestial image features of resident space object (RSO), stars, and/or planets. The satellite processor is configured to receive image data from sensors in the imaging device, to increase a positional detection accuracy of the celestial image features by defocusing imaging optics of the imaging device, to capture image data in a volume of the sky as the FOV of the imaging device on each satellite moves in an orbital plane, and generate by a centralized computer at least 1,000 celestial image features using the image data transmitted from each of the satellites.

  • Publication number: 20260125165
Abstract: Systems and methods of the present disclosure enable simulation of imaging of resident space objects (RSOs) by one or more space-based image sensors. The simulation includes obtaining a satellite constellation configuration having satellite configuration parameters for at least one satellite in a constellation of satellites. The simulation also includes obtaining an RSO configuration having RSO configuration parameters RSOs. The simulation may use the satellite and RSO configuration parameters to simulate constellation ephemeris data for each of the satellites and RSOs. Based on the position of each RSO and satellite, detectability of each RSO by each satellite is simulated based on a photometry simulation using the satellite configuration parameters, including sensor characteristics of a simulated sensor. Imagery may also be simulated based on an image generation model, the sensor configuration, the photometry simulation and at least one background model.

  • Patent number: 12124918
Abstract: Information is recorded in quick response codes. A hologram is made from quick response codes and provides three dimensions of information in a two-dimensional hologram. The holograms are used for recording large amounts of information in two dimensions. Multiple quick response codes containing copious information are created using different light wave frequencies in different quick response encoders. The multiple quick response codes are combined in a two-dimensional hologram that is used on labeling. The hologram is read by a hologram reader. Each quick response frequency layer is separated from the hologram. The quick response code is extracted from each layer. A quick response reader provides the information that has been recorded.
