  • Publication number: 20230299632
Abstract: A stator for an n-phase electrical machine includes a plurality of first end connectors of a first connector type arranged to electrically connect first ends of shaped strands arranged in stator slots, and a plurality of second end connectors arranged to electrically connect second ends, thereby forming stator winding sections of the electrical machine. A plurality of further connectors is arranged to connect further first ends and thereby to connect stator winding sections to form at least one of parallel and serial arrangements of stator winding sections. Therein, the further connectors are each manufactured from a piece of sheet metal by cutting and bending, and they each have at least one bridge section in which a surface normal to the original sheet surface is parallel to the machine axis.

  • Patent number: 11489382
Abstract: The invention relates to a rotor for a synchronous drive motor including a plurality of rotor poles, each rotor pole having at least two magnetic layers arranged radially one behind the other, and each magnetic layer comprising a series of magnetic elements, which are formed by injection molding or casting, and solidification of permanent magnetic material in rotor cavities. According to the invention, at least a portion of the magnetic elements each include projections protruding on both sides in their radially inner halves to introduce centrifugal forces of the magnetic elements into the rotor. This ensures an improved possibility of supporting the magnetic elements where sufficient rotor material is available. As a result, it is possible to prevent the radially outer ends of the magnetic elements from abutting the wall of the rotor as a result of centrifugal forces, which reduces the loads and deformations in the webs and bridges between the magnetic elements or to the outer edge of the rotor.

  • Publication number: 20210083540
Abstract: A stator for an electrical machine, the stator having a yoke with longitudinal grooves, which extend along an inner peripheral edge parallel to a longitudinal axis of the yoke and are separated by stator teeth, wherein compressed strands are inserted into the longitudinal grooves, which strands each consist of individual wires, wherein respective ends of the strands exit the grooves at a yoke head and protrude from the yoke, while extending parallel to the axis, wherein the wires of each strand are electrically conductively connected at ends of the strand, and a first end of a first strand, which protrudes from one yoke head, is electrically conductively joined to a second end of a second strand, which protrudes from the one yoke head and comes from another groove, by a separate electrically conductive connecting element to form an electrical winding, the first end and the second end mechanically not touching.

  • Patent number: 9162572
Abstract: A method for interactive attentiveness enhancement of a vehicle driver includes steps of determining that a driver assistance function for semiautomatic control of the motor vehicle is active, detecting a stimulus which may be experienced by the vehicle driver upon an observation of the surroundings of the motor vehicle, detecting an input of the vehicle driver in response to the stimulus, determining a game result based on the input and the stimulus, and outputting a notice concerning the game result.

  • Publication number: 20070231125
Abstract: The preswirl guide device for generating a preswirl in the intake region of a compressor comprises a multiplicity of guide vanes, which are pivotable about a respective vane shank connected to the guide vane, and a pivotable adjusting ring and adjusting levers for transmitting torque from the adjusting ring to the vane shank of each guide vane. The vane shank and the adjusting lever of the respective guide vanes are of one-piece design. The casing in which the guide vanes are rotatably mounted consists of at least two parts joined together in the region of the bearings of the guide vanes. Due to the one-piece design of the guide vane, the number of components to be fitted is reduced. This simplifies the fitting and possible service work on the guide device.
