  • Publication number: 20020038430
Abstract: A system and method for the collection, analysis, and distribution of cyber-threat alerts. The system collects cyber-threat intelligence data from a plurality of sources, and then preprocesses the intelligence data for further review by an intelligence analyst. The analyst reviews the intelligence data and determines whether it is appropriate for delivery to subscribing clients of the cyber-threat alert service. The system reformats and compiles the intelligence data and automatically delivers the intelligence data through a plurality of delivery methods.

  • Patent number: 6350418
Abstract: A sterilization container includes a base defining a volume for receiving medical instruments and a lid engaging the base and closing the top thereof. A latching mechanism mounted on the lid includes latching rods slidably mounted on the lid for engagement with apertures on the base to thereby secure the lid to the base. A camming member is rotatably mounted on the lid and includes slots engaged with the latching rods so that upon manual rotation of the camming plate in one direction the latching rods are moved into the apertures and upon rotation of the camming plate in the opposite direction, the latching rods are withdrawn from the apertures.

  • Patent number: 5641065
Abstract: A medical instrument soaking, transport and storage container intended for receiving surgical instruments and containing a cleaning solution or disinfectant for cleaning the instruments. A lid mounts on the bowl for transport of the instruments to a cleaning/decontamination area of a hospital. The lid portion carries a projecting seal that is received in a circumferentially extending groove in an outwardly extending rim portion of the bowl. Accordingly, sealing is effected between the lid and the bowl. A pivoting clasp is mounted on each side of the lid for engagement with the corresponding portion of the bowl, and therefore secures the lid on the bowl for transport.

  • Patent number: 5441707
Abstract: A sterilization container for sterilizing and storing medical instruments includes a base tray and one or more insert trays removably mounted in a cavity defined by the side and bottom walls of the base tray. Insert trays are supported on ribs projecting transversely into the base tray cavity which cooperates with the side walls of the base tray to define a groove which receives a circumferential wall defined on a turned over portion of an insert tray, thereby inhibiting the latter from migrating to the bottom of the base tray. The ribs have lateral side surface to engage the circumferentially extending wall of the insert trays to restrict lateral movement of the insert trays relative to the base tray to that distance which brings the circumferentially extending walls of the base tray into engagement with the lateral surface of one of the ribs.

  • Patent number: 3946439
Abstract: Magnetic disk recording apparatus including a pair of magnetic transducers contacting the opposite sides of a magnetic disk and each carried by a swingable arm. The arms are interconnected together so that the swinging movement of one of the arms is transmitted to the other arm to cause an opposite swinging movement of the other arm for simultaneously moving the transducers away from the magnetic disk. An electromagnet actuates one of the arms so as to thereby also move the other arm.
