  • Publication number: 20250295861
Abstract: A dose delivery mechanism includes a housing, a piston rod to act on a plunger sealing a fluid compartment and to move in an axial direction relative to the housing to deliver a set dose, and a dose setting member movable relative to the housing during dose setting. A position of the dose setting member relative to the housing defines the set dose, and in an as-delivered condition, the dose setting member is preset to a position that corresponds to a set dose higher than zero.

  • Publication number: 20250295859
Abstract: A set includes a medicament delivery device with a dose delivery activation mechanism to adjust the medicament delivery device from an inactive state to an active state in which a dose is deliverable, and a cover. The cover is mechanically attached to the medicament delivery device prior to use of the medicament delivery device. The cover covers a part of the dose delivery activation mechanism so that a user is restrained from prematurely activating the medicament delivery device, and the cover is movable in a distal direction to uncover the part of the dose delivery activation mechanism to activate the medicament delivery device during use of the medicament delivery device.

  • Publication number: 20250288750
Abstract: A dose delivery mechanism includes a piston rod and a nut, the piston rod forms an outer thread meshing with an inner thread of the nut. During dose setting, the nut rotates relative to the piston rod to advance the nut with respect to the piston rod by a first distance into a distal direction, an actuation member that is movable by a user to effect delivery of a set dose, and a housing. A second threaded connection causes the actuation member to travel a second distance into the distal direction during dose setting. The the actuation member is coupled via the nut to the piston rod during dose delivery to advance the piston rod by the first distance into a proximal direction upon proximal movement of the actuation member by the second distance, and the second distance is less than 1.5 times the first distance.

  • Publication number: 20250288745
Abstract: A dose delivery mechanism includes a housing, a piston rod, and an adjusting element. The housing connecting to a container sealed by a plunger. In an assembled state, the dose delivery mechanism moves the piston rod axially in a proximal direction during dose delivery such that the piston rod exerts an axial force on the plunger to expel a medicament. In the preassembled state, the adjusting element rotates with respect to the housing, causing axial movement of the piston rod to adjust an axial position of the piston rod prior to transfer of the dose delivery mechanism from the preassembled state into the assembled state. An outer rim of the adjusting element effects rotation of the adjusting element and axial movement of the piston rod. The adjusting element performs rotation at least while being in a preassembled position with respect to the housing.

  • Publication number: 20250269118
Abstract: A dose setting mechanism includes a housing, a dose setting knob, and a dose setting device. The dose setting knob sets the desired dose by compulsory guided combined axial and rotational movement of the dose setting knob relative to the housing. The dose setting mechanism includes a coupling element, and upon drug delivery, the dose setting knob moves axially relative to the dose setting device or the housing. The coupling element engages at least one of the dose setting device and the housing to permanently axially lock the dose setting knob to one of the dose setting device or the housing.

  • Publication number: 20230103975
Abstract: An injector includes a push rod, a magazine tube, a gate, a cannula and an actuator. The magazine tube has a lumen extending from an inlet to an outlet thereof. The magazine tube slidingly receives at least one implant therein. The gate has a closed configuration in which it covers the outlet of the magazine tube and an open configuration in which it does not cover the outlet of the magazine tube. The cannula has a distal end configured to be inserted into an eye. A lumen of the cannula is in fluid communication with the lumen of the magazine tube when the gate is in the open configuration. Actuation of the actuator moves the gate from the closed configuration to the open configuration and causes translation of the pushrod through the magazine tube and the cannula.
