  • Patent number: 8798902
Abstract: A method for controlling a powered system, the method including operating the powered system to perform a mission based on an optimized mission plan, identifying when the powered system is approaching a location in the mission where the powered system may change from a first route to a second route, obtaining information about whether the first route or the second route will be taken, and if the second route is taken, adjusting the mission plan to optimize reduced emissions output and/or reduced fuel consumption based on the route change.

  • Patent number: 8725326
Abstract: A system and method for predicting a route to be authorized by a dispatcher for a vehicle to travel on a route network comprises a computer system that has a database having stored data relative to interconnecting route segments that make up the route network. Data relative to the origination location and the destination location is input into the computer system. The processor accesses the database and generates a predicted route with an origination location and destination location.

  • Publication number: 20050288832
Abstract: A method and apparatus for implementing a run-time configuration change for domain data in a database for an information systems where the domain data defines entities which are acted upon by the information system and where the reconfiguration of the domain data can take place without taking the information system offline and making it inaccessible to users.

  • Publication number: 20050180745
Abstract: The present invention relates to a photographic processor and a method of processing photographic material. The photographic processor is adapted to achieve a high speed processing of photographic material by utilizing the combination of a vacuum platen and a stacker arrangement that is adapted to hold the media for a time necessary to process and/or dry the media. The system of the present invention permits media to be fed to a first vacuum platen where a first solution is applied. The platen is adapted transport the media to a first vertical stacker arrangement, which holds the media for a desired processing time for the first solution. The media can then be pushed through a stop solution, if needed, and onto a second vacuum platen where a second solution can be applied. The media is then delivered to second vertical stacker arrangement that is designed to assure the proper amount of processing time for the second solution.

  • Patent number: 5534959
Abstract: A rigid camera with a film holder independently rotatable about a horizontal axis and a vertical axis. The film holder rotates synchronously with the focusing plate of the viewfinder. The focusing plate rotates independently about a first horizontal axis parallel to the horizontal axis of the film holder when the film holder rotates about its horizontal axis, and about a second horizontal axis perpendicular to its first axis when the film plane rotates about its vertical axis.
