  • Publication number: 20250224131
Abstract: A whole building air quality control system includes an indoor air quality (IAQ) component having at least one control state, a plurality of sensors configured to measure a plurality of building conditions of a building space, and a controller communicably coupled to the IAQ component and the plurality of sensors. The controller includes memory storing a desired air quality index (AQI). The AQI includes a categorical variable. The controller is configured to iteratively modify a control state of the IAQ component using a machine learning algorithm until the plurality of building conditions of the building space satisfy the desired AQI.

  • Patent number: 10946952
Abstract: An aircraft landing gear assembly including a structural load bearing beam arranged, in use, to react torsional loads applied to it. The beam has a tubular box section main body having four straight sidewall portions, adjacent sidewall portions being orthogonal to one another and connected by rounded corner portions. Each corner portion has a radius of between 10% and 40% of the width and/or height of the tubular box section main body.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: March 9, 2018
Date of Patent: March 16, 2021
    Inventors: Radu Chiritoiu, Daniele Parente

  • Publication number: 20180265185
Abstract: An aircraft landing gear assembly having a shock strut with an outer cylinder and a sliding tube, a bogie beam pivotally coupled to a first one of the outer cylinder and the sliding tube via a bogie pivot pin, and a set of torque links arranged to inhibit rotation of the sliding tube relative to the outer cylinder about the shock absorber travel axis. The torque links include a first torque link and a second torque link movably coupled to the first torque link. The first torque link is movably coupled to a second one of the outer cylinder and the sliding tube, which is distinct from the first one of the outer cylinder and the sliding tube, and the second torque link is pivotally coupled to the bogie pivot pin to pivot about the bogie pivot pin.

  • Patent number: 4387825
Abstract: The invention relates to a contractable closure member for sealing an open-ended container. The closure member comprises a top wall formed of a rigid material and an elastic bottom wall formed of a flexible material and having an upwardly extending continuous side wall. The side wall has a seal formed integral therewith, and this wall is securable to the top wall whereby the bottom wall is held in spaced relationship with the top wall. A retracting lever is pivotally secured in the top wall and has an engagement end and a pusher end. The pusher end is arcuately displaceable against a central portion of the bottom wall to distend the bottom wall whereby at least a portion of the side wall will be drawn inwardly to remove sealing pressure when positioned for sealing engagement in an open-ended container.
