  • Patent number: 12208900
Abstract: An aircraft interior unit with a detachable panel. The aircraft interior unit comprises a wall comprising a hollow panel, and a door mounted to the wall. The door is slidable between a closed position in which it covers an entrance to the aircraft interior unit, and an open position in which the entrance to the aircraft interior unit is uncovered. In the open position, the door is at least partially disposed within the hollow panel of the wall. The hollow panel can be detached from the rest of the aircraft interior unit, and the door, when moved from the open position, can be detached from the wall.

  • Publication number: 20240360708
Abstract: An aircraft interior assembly comprising a fixed element, a sliding element movable between a lockable position and a released position, and a latch mechanism. The latch mechanism comprises a locking arm, mounted on one of the fixed element and the sliding element, which is rotatable around a rotating axis between a locked position and an unlocked position. The latch mechanism further comprises an engagement plate, mounted on the other of the fixed element and the sliding element. When the sliding element is in the lockable position and the locking arm is in the locked position, the locking arm contacts the engagement plate to prevent the sliding element moving out of the lockable position. Conversely, when the sliding element is in the lockable position and the locking arm is in the unlocked position, the locking arm is not in contact with the engagement plate, and the sliding element is free to move out of the lockable position.

  • Patent number: 11416676
Abstract: Text messages are used to interact with objects in a spreadsheet. For example, text messages may be used to enter/receive data in the spreadsheet. One or more text messages may be associated with a spreadsheet. Text messages may be associated with cells, tables, charts and other objects of the spreadsheet. When the spreadsheet receives a text message, the text message is parsed and information that is contained within the text message is used to interact with one or more objects within the spreadsheet. The spreadsheet may also generate and send text messages that provide information about the spreadsheet and/or request information to be entered within the spreadsheet. For example, the spreadsheet may send out an update of one or more values/objects within a spreadsheet and/or send a request within a text message requesting information to update a table.

  • Patent number: 11189283
Abstract: In a device including a processor and a memory, the memory includes executable instructions that cause the processor to control the device to perform functions of receiving a user input to initiate a conversation session for generating an outline for a writing; generating a voice output asking a question regarding the writing; receiving a voice input from the user responding to the voice output; identifying, based on the received voice input, content of the voice input responding to the voice output; repeating, until a predetermined condition is met, the steps of generating the voice output, receiving the voice input, and identifying the content of the voice input, wherein the question asked via each voice output is generated in response to the content of the voice input responding to the preceding voice output; and generating, based on the content of the voice inputs, the outline for the writing.

  • Patent number: 10977436
Abstract: A smart fill feature is provided, which may be utilized to provide suggestions to a user and to prepopulate fill results in a spreadsheet. Characteristics associated with a set of data may be recognized and used to help determine fill results Suggestions may be determined from internal and or/external data sources, and may use contextual information in a data set to determine what a user may be trying to accomplish. External data sources may include one or more Internet data sources or internal corporate databases, providing a large amount of data from which to search for potential fill results. A split column command may be used to split a column into two or more columns. Data may be split between columns or combined by various methods, which may include, by example, by direct manipulation via tokens, or via a slider UI.

  • Patent number: 10467315
Abstract: A user interface that when selected triggers the automatic sharing of a spreadsheet object in a spreadsheet with a chosen network service (e.g. social network, blog, or some other network location). For example, cells, tables, charts and other objects of the spreadsheet may be selected to be shared using the user interface. When a spreadsheet object is selected and indicated to be shared using the user interface, the spreadsheet is automatically saved to a network share, permissions are set for the spreadsheet to share the spreadsheet object, and the spreadsheet object is shared with the network service. Changes made to the spreadsheet after the spreadsheet object is shared are reflected in the spreadsheet object on the network service.

  • Patent number: 10162518
Abstract: Systems, methods, and software are disclosed herein for supporting reversible ink in a user interface to an application. In an implementation, an application receives inking input on a canvas in a user interface to the application. The application renders ink on the canvas along a path taken by the inking input and monitors for the inking input to reverse direction along the path. In response to the inking input reversing the direction along the path, the application erases at least a portion of the ink from the canvas.

  • Patent number: 10134158
Abstract: Systems, methods, and software are disclosed herein for supporting directional stamping. In an implementation, an input stroke is received on a canvas in a user interface to an application. The application identifies at least a directional effect with which to render each of a set of discontinuous objects along a continuous path taken by the input stroke on the canvas. The application then renders the set of discontinuous objects on the canvas along the continuous path with at least the directional effect identified for each discontinuous object.

  • Patent number: 9824269
Abstract: Technologies are described herein for interpreting character arrangements. An image including an arrangement of characters may be received or captured by a computing device. Techniques described herein generate data representative of the characters. Characteristics and other information interpreted from the image may be processed to determine a data type. The data representative of the characters may be arranged into a data structure based on the data type, an arrangement type and/or other information interpreted from the image. The data type may indicate one or more attributes of the arranged data such as a format, font, date, language, or currency. The data type may also indicate how data is used in a process, equation or calculation. In addition, the data type may identify an anchor that may be used to merge data generated from the image with other data generated from another image.
