  • Patent number: 11953808
Abstract: A mounting system for an image capture device that includes three pivotably connected arms is disclosed. The first arm includes a first fastener that is lockable and unlockable to allow for connection and disconnection of the image capture device, and a second fastener that is lockable and unlockable to regulate the position of the image capture device relative to the first arm. The mounting system further includes a third fastener that is lockable and unlockable to regulate the relative positioning between the first arm and the second arm, and a fourth fastener that is lockable and unlockable to regulate the relative positioning between the second arm and the third arm. Whereas the first fastener is removable, each of the second, third, and fourth fasteners is captive to (nonremovable from) the mounting system.

  • Publication number: 20230382008
Abstract: A method of making a structural member from hemp stalks includes feeding a plurality of the hemp stalks into a baler that bundles and aligns the hemp stalks in a common axial direction. A hemp cord is used to bound the hemp stalks into a continuous hemp extrusion, which is then cut into a plurality of hemp logs that are then saturated with an adhesive mixture by an adhesive sprayer that coats each side of the hemp log, or a dip tank. Each hemp log is then introduced into a mold and compressed by 60%-80% to form an interlocking hemp board, a plurality of which are combined to form the structural member after drying by applying the adhesive mixture and then compressing the plurality of interlocking hemp boards in a press until cured. Such a structural member may then be further cut into a finished product, such as two-by-fours.

  • Publication number: 20230074252
Abstract: There is a daily dosage for treating pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) of two discrete dosage forms each having up to 600 mg of rodatristat ethyl or up to 1200 mg of rodatristat ethyl once per day. There are methods for treating PAH in human patients in need thereof via administration of the dosage forms. There is also a method for treating PAH via daily administration of an amount of a first compound of rodatristat ethyl and an amount of a second compound selected from among ambrisentan, sildenafil, tadalafil, bosentan, treprostinil, selexipag, macitentan, and a combination of two or more thereof. The combination results in an additive or synergistic reduction in symptoms or side effects of PAH compared to the two alone with a low risk for drug-drug interaction, such with a Cmax, unbound in the bloodstream of less than 0.028 ?M. The combination can also result in neither rodatristat ethyl nor its active metabolite rodatristat substantially impacting metabolism of the second compound in the bloodstream.

  • Publication number: 20220157471
Abstract: Disclosed in some examples are systems, methods, and machine-readable media for improved data categorization for group organization. To improve participation, a user may be associated with a group. Anonymized health data from the users may be aggregated to generate one or more target goals, which may be selected by the group as a target goal. A number of groups may compete against other groups, where the competition may be scored based on progress toward their respective selected goals. The generation of target goals and the group progress toward each selected goal may be based on improvement or maximization of user participation.

  • Publication number: 20210311794
Abstract: Various methods, apparatuses/systems, and media for implementing a standalone application module are disclosed. A configuration database stores information about one or more infrastructure resources. A receiver receives a request to connect to an infrastructure resource. A processor accesses the configuration database to fetch information about the infrastructure resource; accesses one or more external resource databases to fetch infrastructure resources that are required to run an application; dynamically creates the infrastructure resources accessed from the one or more external resource databases; and establishes and maintains a connection to the dynamically created infrastructure resources required by the application to function running in background in a user's system.

  • Patent number: 10401934
Abstract: Embodiments relate to enabling software to interface with a power consumption telemetry system. A process may have tagging instructions that interface with an energy estimation engine. While the energy estimation engine is logging energy consumption by the process, the process may also mark, tag, or otherwise delineate periods of processing during the execution time of the process. The logic of the process may determine how such periods should be labeled and when they being and end. The tagged periods are correlated with energy consumed by the process so that details of what the process was doing during different periods of energy consumption may be understood.

  • Patent number: 9962698
Abstract: A microfluidic system includes a microfluidic device connected to a bubble trap device whereby fluid flowing to the microfluidic device passes through the bubble trap device to remove gas bubbles prior to entering the microfluidic device. The bubble trap can include a separation chamber and an exhaust chamber separated by a hydrophobic porous membrane and gas bubbles in the fluid entering the separation chamber pass through the hydrophobic porous membrane into the exhaust chamber while the fluid remains in the separation chamber. The bubble trap can be formed by bonding a first body portion to a first side of the hydrophobic porous membrane and bonding a second body portion to a second side of the hydrophobic porous membrane. The exhaust chamber can be connected to an elongated exhaust channel that limits the evaporation losses of the fluid through the hydrophobic porous membrane.

  • Publication number: 20160084034
Abstract: A completion tool for gravel pack and frac pack operations for installing a sump packer and perforating a casing in one trip of a work string. The completion tool is disposed on the end of a work string and includes a perforating gun and a packer attached to the distal end of the completion tool by a coupling. The coupling is such that once the packer is set, the rest of the completion tool can be detached from the packer. After detachment, the completion tool can be repositioned to fire the perforating gun. Positioning of the packer and perforating gun may be accomplished by correlating off of other equipment or by use of logging-while-drilling or measurement-while-drilling equipment incorporated into the completion tool.
