  • Publication number: 20240364762
Abstract: A computing system and method that can be used for a video conferencing system including a watchdog to ensure that all data associated with the video conference is encrypted from end-to-end. In particular, aspects of the present disclosure provide a secure and private approach to conducting remote meetings. For example, the watchdog can monitor the data associated with the video conference, ranging from call setup data to video image and audio data transmitted from one or more client computing devices. In particular, the present disclosure provides a method for ensuring that the video conference data is protected by using multiple steps and monitoring the video conference data while the video conference is ongoing such that remedial measures can be taken immediately when a breach in security is determined.

  • Patent number: 10617578
Abstract: A brake assist system for patient handling equipment such as a patient bed includes a drive wheel. The wheel includes a brake assist system operated by control of a controlled unit which is operable to sense tilt of the handling equipment and to apply partial breaking to the wheel when it is detected that the equipment is on a slope. The control unit controls a maximum speed of the equipment down the slope, in order to protect the patient and to assist a care worker. The control unit disengages the brake assist mechanism when it is detected that the equipment is on a horizontal surface.

  • Patent number: 8880538
Abstract: In general, the subject matter described in this disclosure can be embodied in methods, systems and program products. An input document is received. A computing system determines whether a first portion of text is listed in a table of textual content. A computing system inserts into an output document, as a result of determining that the first portion of text is not listed in the table of textual content, the first portion of text. A computing system adds the first portion of text into the table of textual content. A computing system determines whether a second portion of text is listed in the table of textual content, wherein the second portion of text matches the first portion of text.
