  • Patent number: 10380564
Abstract: Various embodiments are related to apparatuses and methods for enabling a merchant to perform banking-type transactions for a customer. A merchant can use, for example, a sales system configured to be used by the merchant to sell goods to perform a banking-type transaction for a customer. The sales system can send information related to the banking-type transaction to, for example, a buyer/seller platform. When the banking-type transaction is a deposit, the merchant can receive funds for the deposit from the customer. The platform can credit the customer's financial account for the deposit amount by diverting payment card funds, received by the merchant for the sale of goods and processed by the platform, to the customer's financial account. When the banking-type transaction is a withdrawal, the platform can debit the customer's financial account and credit the debited funds to the merchant's financial account.

  • Publication number: 20190054333
Abstract: An apparatus for providing an autonomous fire extinguishing system including a tank filled with an extinguishing agent with a targeting system with independently mounted targeting servos and targeting gimbal to position an emitter and an infra-red camera. A microcontroller provides control signals to the targeting servos and an actuation valve. One or more heat sensors, smoke detectors, humidity sensors, and/or carbon monoxide detectors are electrically connected to the microcontroller; and the microcontroller continuously reads in the sensor data till appropriate conditions indicating a potential fire are detected; these appropriate can be based on temperature, rate of temperate increase, smoke levels, humidity, and/or carbon monoxide levels. Once the appropriate conditions are detecting, the microcontroller commands the targeting gimbal to position the infra-red camera to a number of calculated positions, taking infra-red pictures covering the environment requiring protection.

  • Patent number: 9730993
Abstract: The present invention provides methods and systems for targeted delivery of a compound to a target cell that over-expresses two different proteinases. Specifically, two different modified protective antigen proteins, each comprising a cleavage site recognized by a distinct proteinase in place of the native proteinase cleavage site recognized by furin, are administered in combination with a compound that contains a protective antigen binding site. Upon cleavage by the two proteinases the two modified protective antigen proteins form a hetero-oligomer, allowing the compound to bind to the hetero-oligomer and subsequently to be translocated into the target cell.
