  • Publication number: 20260224877
Abstract: A guide element for an intravascular access device that may include an intravascular access device having a needle inside of a catheter lumen and a working space between an exterior surface of the needle and an interior surface of the catheter, the working space configured to receive one or more tools therethrough, and a guide element having a distal end and a proximal end separated by one or more annular elements, the guide element configured to be distally advanced from the intravascular access device inside of a blood vessel, wherein the one or more annular elements is configured to control at least a distal end of the guide element.

  • Publication number: 20260216489
Abstract: An intravascular access device having a handle with a slot through the handle surface and a plurality of ratchet teeth aligned on the interior of the handle. A slider positioned in the slot with a slider leg that extends to engage the ratchet teeth. A needle carrier positioned in the handle with a proximal dock configured to receive the slider leg and a needle coupled to the distal end. The needle has a longitudinal flat surface clocked along a length of the needle body and extends through a catheter and catheter hub releasably coupled to the distal end of the handle. A guide element that extends through the slider leg, through a needle carrier channel, and along a flat surface of the needle within the catheter. The slider being configured to distally advance the guide element from the catheter distal end as the slider is distally advanced along the ratchet teeth and within the handle slot.

  • Publication number: 20260183518
Abstract: Intravascular access is achieved by introducing a catheter having a guide element recess placed to receive the contoured distal end of a guide element. The guide element may be advanced along an outer surface of an access needle to form a loop beyond the distal end of the needle. The deployed guide element may form a partial or complete loop once beyond the distal end of the needle. After the catheter has been properly positioned, the access needle and guide element may be removed by automatic withdrawal leaving the catheter in place within a blood vessel and available for use.

  • Patent number: 10890415
Abstract: Man portable weapons include integrated electronics that calculate orientation and movement in addition to providing that data to a user's heads-up displays (HUD) as well as to group and area networks. By passing data to a HUD, the user is able to see, virtually, the flight path, point of impact and other ballistic data as well as data representing the condition and performance of the weapon for any rounds fired. The HUD also displays the relative position of other members of the team, last known enemy area of operation and other useful parameters from the man portable weapons of the other team members through the network. The electronics may be integrated within the main components of any suitable man portable weapon in a non-intrusive way as to have no effect on the firing mechanism of the small arm when it is fully assembled.
