    Abstract: An entirely new application for hyperspectral data has been identified as well as an entirely new means to detect TSE related diseases. This application can be applied to any disease where foreign matter builds in an observable location such as central nervous system tissue (retinal nerves). By using imagable central nervous system tissue, malformed proteins may now be detected via a hyperspectral scanner and the application of hyperspectral technology to detect disease via eye tissue.
