Abstract: A portable and collapsible canopy structure, capable of being set-up and locked in a set-up condition, and likewise unlocked and collapsed from the set-up condition to a collapsed condition for transportation and storage, comprises a lever system allowing for single-user operation for set-up and break-down, wherein the user remains outside the unit, preferably at a single corner of the canopy frame. Further, the lever system provides means for locking the frame in the set-up condition for safe use, and likewise unlocking the frame for collapsing the canopy structure for transport and storage. More particularly, a lever member engages with a rib linkage associated with one corner of the frame to extend said rib linkage to an extended condition, the extension of which coordinates simultaneous extension of the other rib linkages, as well as extension of horizontal supports connected between the corners of the canopy frame.

The rocking chair includes a frame comprising a pair of frame side assemblies and each frame side assembly has a front leg portion and a rear leg portion. The pair of frame side assemblies are movable between an open configuration and a closed configuration. The rocking chair also includes at least one pair of first cross members and at least one pair of second cross members. Each first cross member is pivotally connected to each other and connected to at least one of the front leg portion and the rear leg portion. Each second cross member is pivotally connected to each other and to the at least one pair of first cross members. The rocking chair also includes at least one rocker mechanism attached to the chair frame for effecting movement of the chair frame between forward and rearward positions.

In use, the seat assembly can be shifted between an upright position and a reclined position where the back support angularly pivots backwards. In use, the leg rest support can be pivotally shifted from a lowered position to an upright position relative to the seating assembly—operating similar to a conventional LA-Z-BOY recliner using a handle disposed on a side of the chair frame that is moved by the user to effectuate movement of the leg rest support independent of any reclining adjustment of the seat assembly.

Abstract: A collapsible and portable chair includes a storage container provided on the backrest of the chair. Such a storage container can be used to secure and protect items contained therein. The container is formed on the back-side of the chair's back-rest by a web of fabric sewn to the backrest panel, enclosed on the bottom and both sides, but open on the top edge to provide easy access to the interior of the container. The open top end of the container can be closed using a cinching means, while still providing easy access to the interior of the container either when the chair is in its set-up or collapsed condition. The chair can also include a shade that can be set-up to provide a seated user with shade, or collapsed about the back-side of the chair without interfering with use of the container.
