    Abstract: The disclosure is of a high performance speaker diaphragm which comprises needled and interlocked textile staple fibers of a first, relatively heat-resistant fiber and a second, heat-softenable fiber. The fibers are molded together to soften the second fiber whereby it interlocks with the first fiber.
