  • Publication number: 20190082750
Abstract: A jacket with openings for harness rings includes a jacket having sleeves and an interior side and an exterior side. There is a hole in a back of the jacket. A weather tight material extends from the hole away from an exterior side. The jacket has similar openings for other safety rings, which commonly include two roughly at the hips and one against the chest of the wearer. The weather tight material is can be made of an elastic material, which seals around the safety ring of the safety harness that provides a weather resistant opening. The jacket and weather tight material are made of fire resistant material in one case. This invention provides a jacket that protects the wearer from the elements and does not interfere with the safety harness.

  • Publication number: 20180140025
Abstract: The invention is directed to a joint protection device that has a frame of an elastomeric material. The elastomeric material has a flash point above 500 degrees Celsius. A solid face is attached to the frame. The solid face has a first side and a second side and has a high gas permeability for an elastomer. A hardness adjustable structure is attached to the second side of the solid face. The hardness adjustable structure does not support microbiological growth. In one case, the elastomer is a silicone rubber, which meets the flame resistant or flame retardant clothing (FRC) requirements. This also makes the device flexible so that it is more comfortable to wear.

  • Patent number: 8166570
Abstract: The invention is related to a knee protection system having a knee pad permanently attached to a garment such as pants. The pad is made of silicone rubber. The pad may be shaped and have a number of pad areas including a patella covering part of the pad, a pair of side parts and a top part of the pad. The side parts of the pad protect the user when they roll on their knees and the top part of the pad protects the user knee when they lean forward. The silicone rubber pad is waterproof, inert, and fire resistant. The pad is permanently attached to a knee region of a pair of pants. By manufacturing the pad in a pair of pants a user can comfortably walk around with the knee protection system.
