  • Patent number: 12248002
Abstract: A probe is provided and is configured for placement against and for movement along a body of interest and is configured to control and minimize compressive forces induced by the probe on the body of interest. The probe includes a probe handle portion that includes an outer probe housing and a probe head portion that is movably disposed within the outer probe housing. The probe head portion has a first end that defines a contact surface for placement along the body of interest. • Publication number: 20230372112
Abstract: A subtalar joint replacement includes a talar component and a calcaneal component. The talar component includes a talar fixation surface, a talar articular surface opposite the talar fixation surface, the talar articular surface having a first shape, and one or more fixation devices extending from the talar fixation surface. The calcaneal component includes a calcaneal fixation surface, a calcaneal articular surface opposite the calcaneal fixation surface, the calcaneal articular surface having a second shape that interfaces with the first shape of the talar articular surface to generate constraint across a subtalar joint, and one or more fixation devices extending from the calcaneal fixation surface.

  • Patent number: 11399800
Abstract: A probe handle accessory for use with a probe includes an outer housing having a first hollow interior and an outer surface for being gripped by a user. The accessory also includes an inner sleeve that is disposed within the first hollow interior and moves axially therein. The inner sleeve having a second hollow interior that is configured to receive the probe and the inner sleeve is configured for securely holding the probe in place within the second hollow interior. At least one biasing element is provided and is coupled to the outer housing and to the inner sleeve and configured to apply a force to the inner sleeve in a distal direction for maintaining the probe in position against a surface of interest during examination thereof, while permitting axial movement of the inner sleeve within the outer housing.
