Abstract: Embodiments include providing an icebreaker message that may be broadcast publicly by a poster to users of a social media application. The icebreaker message may be structured and context-based. The icebreaker message may be routed to different users based on one or more variables. A user may reply directly to the icebreaker message, and the reply may not be visible to other user. The reply may be sent to the poster and a private one-on-one chat between the poster and the user may be initiated. Different users may be individually connected to the poster in real-time in private one-on-one chat threads by replying directly to the icebreaker message.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention relate to a method and system for facilitating and aggregating surveys and opinions regarding multimedia data in connection with a purchasable good or service. In one embodiment of the present invention, a method for facilitating and aggregating surveys and opinions comprises receiving at a central server, from a first user, multimedia data associated with a purchasable good/service, associating a set of attributes with the purchasable good/service at the central server, presenting the multimedia data associated with the purchasable good/service and the set of attributes to a second user, receiving feedback reflective of the second user's opinion based on the multimedia data associated with the purchasable good/service and the set of attributes, and displaying the feedback to the first user.
