    Abstract: An agricultural vehicle comprises a chassis, a header carried by the chassis, an actuator system including a plurality of actuators linked to a frame of the header and configured to adjust an orientation of the header, a GPS device configured to output a GPS position of the vehicle, and a controller. The header includes a frame and one or more sensors carried by the frame. The controller is electrically coupled to the one or more sensors, the actuator system, and the GPS device. The controller is configured to receive from a memory a final orientation of the header associated with a GPS position at a second location on a last pass that is closest in distance to a GPS position at an upcoming location on the current pass, and activate one or more actuators to re-orient the header before the vehicle arrives at the upcoming location.

The enhanced functionality provided by the browser plug-in is used in one example by an image uploading web application. The browser application may also start a task in the background, such as a task for uploading several images, and then monitor the progress of the task even when the browser application navigates away from the page that initiated the task. The browser application may use a local web server running on the client device to perform tasks, including the rendering of images and monitoring progress of long running tasks.

Each interface has at least one inductively coupled communication receiver and at least one inductively coupled communication transmitter. The transmitters and receivers cooperate to transmit electronic information and commands between the agricultural machine side control system and the attachment side control system. A primary coil is connected to the agricultural machine for transmitting power to the attachment. A secondary coil is connected to the attachment for receiving power from the agricultural machine.

    Abstract: A brain injury reduction system provides a protective measure to reduce severity of brain injury caused by collision or blast. A sensing device of the system detects an impending or occurring event (e.g., collision or blast) in an environment surrounding the individual and sends information about the event to a controller of the system. The sensing device can be stationary or moves with the individual. Based on the information, the controller determines whether the event will likely cause brain injury to the individual. If so, the controller sends an instruction to an actuation device of the system to activate the protective measure. The actuation device uses transcutaneous electrodes to electrically simulate glottis closure and contraction of the abdominal musculature to induce a Valsalva-like maneuver. The Valsalva-like maneuver can increases the stiffness of the brain tissues in the intracranial compartment, and thus reduces the susceptibility of the brain tissues to deformation.

    Abstract: A system, method, and apparatus include a controller structured to predict a change in speed of a vehicle in advance of upcoming terrain and inhibit a coasting event if the speed exceeds a limit. In one form a velocity of the vehicle is predicted using a physics based model of the vehicle within a look ahead window in front of a vehicle. Such a look ahead window can be distance or time based. In another, speed of a vehicle is monitored during a coasting event and is compared against a threshold to determine whether to remain coasting or re-engage an engine to a driveline. The threshold is a function of road grade, and permits a larger deviation from set speed at low grade than at high grade. The function can be based on road grade and vehicle weight.
