  • Patent number: 10983657
Abstract: Systems and methods for providing a client-side configurable graphical control element framework are disclosed. In one embodiment, a system may include a client device that may execute a user interface and a data services component in communication with the client device and a data source. The user interface may retrieve a graphical control element configuration file and may transmit a request for data, including a metric identifier, to the data services component. The data services component may retrieve a data services configuration file for the metric identifier, and may request data from the data source based on the data services configuration file. The data services component receives data from the data source and formats the data according to the data services configuration file. The user interface may receive the formatted data and represent the data as a graphical control element according to the graphical control element configuration file.

  • Publication number: 20190059500
Abstract: A neckliner for a helmet incorporates a C-shaped body for fitting in the helmet around the back and sides of a neck of a wearer. The C-shaped body has a first end and a second end, a speaker for relaying sound to an ear of the wearer, a releasable fastener for releasably attaching the neckliner to the helmet, a first support portion and a second support portion. Each support portion has a proximal end and a distal end. The proximal end of the first support portion is attached to the first end of the C-shaped body. The proximal end of the second support portion is attached to the second end of the C-shaped body. The speaker is situated in a first corner formed between the first end of the C-shaped body and the first support portion for placement proximal to a first ear of the wearer in use.

  • Patent number: 6571541
Abstract: A billet strap for use with a Western saddle includes a portion of stretch material in the construction of the billet strap. The stretch material allows the billet strap to adjust and fine tune the tension of a cinch when the billet strap is used to connect the cinch to the Western saddle, thus increasing the comfort of the horse. In one exemplary embodiment, the billet strap is comprised of a portion of nonstretching material joined in series with a portion of stretching material. The billet strap may include a protective sleeve. The protective sleeve may cover all or only a portion of the billet strap. In other embodiments of the invention, the billet strap is comprised of multiple portions of material (e.g., three nonstretching portions joined together by two stretching portions). In yet another embodiment, the billet strap is comprised entirely of a stretching material.
