    Abstract: Non-lethal weapon includes a housing, a barrel insertable into the housing and a barrel locking mechanism. The non-lethal weapon may be adapted for spraying a pepper extract onto a potential attacker in order to disable the potential attacker. The barrel is adapted to hold a canister of the pepper extract under pressure. The barrel may be rotatable to lock the barrel into the housing. A longitudinal axis of the barrel is angled upward at a substantial angle relative to the longitudinal axis of the housing or relative to the upper surface of the housing when the weapon is used. The non-lethal weapon includes a conical orifice adapted to spray the pepper extract over an opening angle of between 70 and 120 degrees.
