  • Patent number: 10933423
Abstract: A method of producing flour and/or semolina by raw material being fed into a feed opening of a roller press. The milling gap of the roller press is fixed, or damping of at least one of the rollers with respect to the lateral deflection is set, such that a first subset of the fill containing finer milling material forms a packed particle fill in the milling gap. In addition, the setting is carried out in such a way that individual particles of a second subset of the fill containing coarser milling material are in contact with the first roller and the second roller of the roller press. Subsequently, the bulk material is milled into milled product in the roller press (9) and the milled product is discharged through a discharge opening.

  • Publication number: 20200391217
Abstract: A device for comminuting bulk material grains (K) having a first element, designed as a rotor having a cylindrical circumferential surface with a first surface (31) and a first receiving portion (41), and a second element designed as a shear strip (51) having a second surface (61) and a second receiving portion (71), and a supply unit. The first and the second surfaces (31, 61) lie parallel to and face one another. The first and second elements are relatively movable between first and second positions (P1, P2) in a plane of the first and the second surfaces (31, 61). In the first position (P1), the first and second receiving portion (41, 71) communicate with one another, via a passage (9) forming a receptacle, in which the bulk material grain (K) can be positioned, and, upon moving to the second position (P2), a cross section of the passage (9) is narrowed.

  • Publication number: 20200156080
Abstract: A transmission (1) for a feed and foodstuff roller mill (2) with a plurality of rotatably drivable rollers which comprises a bearing housing (3) in which an input shaft (4), a first output shaft (5) and a second output shaft (6) are accommodated. The input shaft (4) and the first output shaft (5) are arranged perpendicular to one another and the first output shaft (5) and the second output shaft (6) are arranged parallel to one another. The input shaft (4) and the first output shaft (5) are operatively connected to one another via a bevel gearwheel pair (7, 7?), and the first output shaft (5) and the second output shaft (6) are operatively connected to one another via a torque transmitting arrangement.

  • Publication number: 20180021786
Abstract: A roller mill (10) for grinding material, an aspirating assembly (23; 23?) and a method of retrofitting an existing roller mill. The roller mill (10) contains a grinding space (11, 11?) for grinding material, a separating wall (17) separates the grinding space from an aspiration space (21, 21?). At least one aspiration opening (13), is formed in the separating wall (17) through which aspiration air can flow due to a pressure difference between the aspiration space and the grinding space. The roller mill (10) has a closing element (14) for opening and closing the aspiration opening (13). The closing element (14) is in or moves into an opening position (O), which opens the aspiration opening (13), when the pressure difference exceeds a threshold value, and is in or moves into a closing position (S), which closes the aspiration opening (13), when the pressure difference falls bellow the threshold value.
