  • Patent number: 11373668
Abstract: An audio enhancement method includes receiving a first plurality of input signals representative of audio captured using an array of two or more sensors, the first plurality of input signals characterized by a first signal-to-noise ratio (SNR), with the audio being the signal-of-interest. The method also includes receiving a second input signal representative of the audio, the second input signal characterized by a second SNR. The second SNR is higher than the first SNR. The method further includes combining the first plurality of input signals and the second input signal to generate one or more driver signals, and driving one or more acoustic transducers using the one or more driver signals to generate an acoustic signal representative of the audio. The driver signals include spatial information derived from the first plurality of input signals, and are characterized by a third SNR that is higher than the first SNR.

  • Patent number: 11371489
Abstract: A tower for a wind turbine is disclosed, said wind turbine comprises the tower, a nacelle and a rotor having at least one rotor blade. The tower is configured for supporting the nacelle and the rotor on a support system. The tower itself may be structured as having an upper top end for supporting the nacelle and a lower support end for being placed on the support system. Electric energy generated is transported via power cables from the nacelle to an electric grid, preferably via power electronic components, switches and/or transformers. Furthermore, the nacelle may rotate around the yaw axis according to the current wind direction. Hence, the rotation of the nacelle introduces a twist into the power cables, wherein said twist causes a deviation (shortening) in the length of the power cables. Furthermore, the tower comprises at least one radial cable guiding device for receiving the cable and a cable support arrangement for supporting the cable in a beneficial manner.

  • Publication number: 20220053841
Abstract: Bras for high impact, high support activities are provided. A bra comprises a band that wraps around a torso. The band includes first and second cup regions, and a channel that runs below the collective cup regions. A gore is formed above the channel and between the respective cup regions, adjoining the respective cup regions. A molded cradle is fitted into the channel. For each cup region, a tessellated encapsulating bra cup is fitted therein. Each tessellated encapsulating bra cup includes a plurality of tiles. Respective tiles in the plurality of tiles that are further away from the cradle are larger in size than respective tiles in the plurality of tiles that are closer to the cradle. Each tessellated encapsulating bra cup has a generally concave first inner face and a generally convex first outer face. The tessellated encapsulating bra cups collectively contribute cantilevered support to the bra.

  • Publication number: 20210063231
Abstract: A system for monitoring loading of equipment includes a transmitter assembly mounted to the equipment and a central server. The transmitter assembly has a strain gauge secured to the equipment, an on-board controller and a battery. The central server is in communication with the on-board controller. The central server is configured to receive collected loading data from the transmitter assembly. The on-board controller is configured to operate the transmitter assembly in a load monitoring power mode and a deep sleep mode. The on-board controller is configured to operate at a sleep interval when a load measured by the strain gauge is less than ten percent of a rated working load of the equipment and at an active interval when the load measured by the strain gauge is greater than ten percent of the rated working load. The sleep interval is less than the active interval.

  • Patent number: 10904977
Abstract: A light emitting diode system allows for high current end user LED matrix applications while mitigating internal damage to control circuitry that may be caused by excess current flow. In one example, multiple switches operate in parallel across an LED. When an overvoltage condition is detected in a first switch, a logic circuit determines those switches programmed to operate in parallel and causes them to conduct current. This reduces the amount of current flowing through any one switch and mitigates harm to the device. The parallel configuration of switches may be driven by a single pulse width modulated current. This allows the drive current to be divided between parallel transistors, limiting the damaging effects that can be caused by high currents flowing through the transistors.
