  • Publication number: 20260132008
Abstract: Techniques are disclosed where LIDAR (Light Detection and Ranging) boundaries are augmented for routing an autonomous mobile robot. LIDAR sensors on an autonomous mobile robot (AMR) detect multiple surfaces on a device coupled to an object. The detecting of the multiple surfaces by the LIDAR sensors creates a pattern recognizable by the LIDAR sensors. The pattern is recognized using a program of a computer communicating with the LIDAR sensors and the AMR. Using the computer, the pattern is translated into a boundary message including instructions for generating an artificial buffer for the AMR.

  • Patent number: 12589489
Abstract: According to an embodiment of the present invention, a pressurized sleeve for routing of linear components is provided. The pressurized sleeve is disposed to at least partially surround a flexible line object. A plurality of pouches is disposed in the robotic cable sleeve. At least two pouches of the plurality of pouches have different predetermined hydrostatic pressures from one another which induce axial movement of at least a portion of the robotic cable sleeve and a corresponding portion of the at least partially surrounded linear component.

  • Publication number: 20260084322
Abstract: Mechanical gripping of a component in an automated work environment can include positioning first and second moveable grippers in opposed relation to one another. Each of the first and the second moveable grippers including actuatable pins arranged in an array, and the arrays of actuable pins are in opposed relation to one another. The actuatable pins are movably attached to a backplate on each of the first and second moveable grippers to slide in an inward direction into apertures, respectively, in the backplate when compressed by an inward force. In response to the actuable pins contacting an object between the first and second moveable grippers when the first and second movable grippers are moved toward each other to grasp the object, the actuatable pins contacting the object depressing inwardly into the backplates on each of first and second moveable grippers, respectively.

  • Publication number: 20260014704
Abstract: A method, apparatus, and computer program product for protecting at least two cable connectors. A robot inserts a key housing of a fixture plate into a fixture plate holder hole in a fixture plate holder. The robot locks the fixture plate into the fixture plate holder via use of the key housing, a key pin, and a key spring which is mechanically coupled to the key pin. A key spring force imposed by the key spring on the key pin moves the key pin into a locked position within the key housing and the fixture plate holder. The locked position mechanically locks the fixture plate into the fixture plate holder. The key pin and the key spring are part of either the fixture plate or the fixture plate holder. The at least two cable connectors is attached to a top surface of the fixture plate.

  • Patent number: 12489264
Abstract: A tool to facilitate attachment and detachment of cable connectors. The tool includes a backstop plate for engaging a cable connector receptacle housing, an overmold plate for engaging a cable connector being insertibly connected into a cable connector receptacle, and a rotational means passing through a rotational acceptor formed as part of the overmold plate and rotatably attached to the backstop plate. The rotational means causes the overmold plate to approach the backstop plate upon application of a first spin direction of the rotational means and causing the overmold plate to recede from the backstop plate upon application of a second spin direction of the rotational means. The overmold plate approaching the backstop plate causes the engaged cable connector to be insertibly connected into the cable connector receptacle housing and the overmold plate receding from the backstop plate causes the engaged cable connector to be removed.
