  • Patent number: 10517609
Abstract: A suture drill apparatus and method includes a drill shaft with a first end and a second end where the drill shaft is conformed to connect with a drill and where the drill shaft includes a first diameter and a second diameter and the first diameter is larger than the second diameter and a suture is connected with the drill shaft.

  • Patent number: 6852113
Abstract: An internal osteotomy fixation apparatus is provided. The device comprises a distal plate including a channel. A slide is slidably received within the channel such that the slide is translatable with respect to the distal plate along a first axis. A proximal plate is hingedly connected to the slide, such that the proximal plate has two degrees of freedom relative to the distal plate. A ledge protruding from a first portion of the proximal plate is configured to support a proximal bone segment when the device is implanted. The slide includes ratchet teeth. A ratchet arm including teeth is attached to the distal plate, and configured to engage the slide ratchet teeth. A cross-section of the ratchet arm is configured to maintain a constant stress level along a flexed portion of the arm. The distal plate includes a shelf upon which the ratchet arm rests. Compressive loads borne by the device are translated through the shelf to the distal plate.

  • Patent number: 6436058
Abstract: The invention comprises a system and method for implementing a rehabilitation protocol in a monitoring system for an orthopedic restraining device. The monitoring system provides clinician-recommended parameters for a wide number of exercises in the rehabilitation protocol, instructs a patient on how to perform the exercises, stores data relating to the patient's performance, and presents data to a clinician for analysis of the data. The orthopedic restraining device includes visual indicia while a monitoring device includes demonstration and review protocol modes.
