  • Patent number: 11986764
Abstract: Embodiments include an air filtration media element comprising a plurality of layers of fluted media, each layer comprising a facing sheet and a fluted sheet, the fluted sheet comprising a first plurality of flutes and a second plurality of flutes, the first and second plurality of flutes being arranged in a parallel flow configuration; wherein the first and second plurality of flutes exhibit regular repeating differences in flute shape, flute size, flute height, flute width, cross-flute area, or filter media.

  • Publication number: 20240138633
Abstract: Compositions are provided for dissolvable solid unit dose formulations that can be used with a wand apparatus to clean a toilet surface. The formulations include anionic surfactant, a carbonate or bicarbonate salt, an organic acid, and virgin soap pellets wherein a ratio of the virgin soap pellets to the surfactant is from about 0.5:1 to about 2:1, preferably about 1:1 to about 1.5:1, and most preferably about 1.2:1 to 1.3:1. Compressed compositions retain sufficient hardness to facilitate cleaning a toilet surface but are still able to have a time to breakage when submerged in toilet water of less than 5 minutes to enable easy disposal by flushing with toilet water.

  • Publication number: 20240115502
Abstract: The present invention refers to a liposome comprising: a) a phospholipid; b) cholesterol (chol); c) a conjugate comprising a cholesterol moiety, a polyethylene glycol (PEG) moiety and a peptide moiety comprising a RGD sequence, wherein the PEG moiety is covalently attached to the cholesterol moiety by one end via a bond of the type alkyl ether and is covalently attached to the peptide moiety comprising the RGD sequence by the other end: d) a non-lipid cationic surfactant present in a percentage of less than 30% mol in respect to the total mol of the components of the liposome a), b), c) and d); and e) alpha-galactosidase (GLA) enzyme present in a ratio of micrograms of GLA in respect to the total milligrams of the components of the liposome a), b), c) and d) of between and including 2 to 35. It also refers to a pharmaceutical composition that comprises it and to the liposome or the pharmaceutical composition for use as a medicament, in particular for use in the treatment of Fabry disease.

  • Publication number: 20150097531
Abstract: A method for controlling an energy storage system coupled to a power grid is disclosed. The method includes providing a processor configured to receive current state information including energy level in the storage system, current energy price information and current load information from the power grid. A scalar piecewise linear value function is iteratively solved using the current state information and generating charge/discharge control information. The charge/discharge control information is transmitted to the energy storage system.
